What an amazing day today has been! Since opening this shop we have met so many wonderful people! I just spent some time today with several of them, and they just refresh my spirit! I have been working on a project, that will be made known in a month or so, which has been very mentally and physically time consuming, challenging, and at times a bit daunting. But every morning I would look at this card The Yellow Cup Cafe had tucked away in one of their boxed lunches, and it gave me hope of the exhilaration of victory. Well I don't know how victorious the project will really be, but I mailed it out today, and the simple act of finishing it and mailing it off was victory promised! And, spending time with what I like to call my peeps (that's how I introduced them to my son) was my reward for several difficult weeks. We are so incredibly blessed by this quilting community of ours! Day 7: Current WIP #GreatBritishQuilter 🇬🇧 ✂✂✂✂✂ My current WIP is a pile of 9 project bags, yep 9: one is for the @SouthFloridaModern September project bag swap and a 2nd is to donate to the aforementioned South Florida MQG for their @BrowardQuiltExpo sale to raise funds for the guild. ✂✂✂✂✂ To date, I've made one 😇 I didn't rush it but truth be told it took 6 hours 🤯 and it's already been gifted to an art class 🎨 buddy, @bads1121.
