as the shock settled, registering the absence of ice against my body from the anticipated fall, i turned towards him and yelled, "i did it!"
"you did it," he mirrored through a wide grin. with a careful lean, i pressed a gentle peck to his cheek, watching the color blend pink under the frost.

childe: oh man. so there are 2 different settings for my selfship with him in my mind……1 is VERY enemies/rivals to lovers in which case our first time hooking up is a LOT like mid-fight we’re both scratched and bleeding a little and it’s just feral and teeth and incredible. the other is more childhood friends to lovers where our first time is like….shockingly tender??? all things considered???? but it’s also kind of sad in a way….forces us both to realize that the kids we were don’t exist anymore and we’re different and we grew up and we’ll never be in the past again……but i think it ultimately brings us more together and we find a lot of solace in that :3

suguru: i think he is actually very sweet ... will start brewing my coffee and his tea, and i don't think he actually likes to wake me up (something something mothering me something something he knows i need my rest) so he usually waits for me to sleepily make my way to the kitchen and wrap my arms around him <3 but if he haaaddd to wake me up i think he'd sorta gently play with my hair or kiss my neck until i got up :33

ok so in my mind we moved in together bc we had mutual friends but didn’t really know each other, we both were pretty quiet and kept to ourselves but eventually started picking up on the other’s routine - he would make coffee in the morning and leave a mug on the counter for me, i’d wash his laundry with mine every weekend and make sure to fold his sweaters just the way he liked, he’d light my favorite candles when i was on my way home and i’d make sure to always keep his favorite snacks stocked. one night we’re both awake at the same time (and thoroughly scare each other by walking into the kitchen in the dark) bc we both couldn’t sleep, and end up on the couch just talking, the tv is playing in the background and the light just feels so warm and everything feels so comfortable and we maaaaaybe end up falling asleep cuddling - then, we figure out we sleep best with the other person, and it’s just this unspoken thing of crawling into each other’s beds every night :3 and ofc eventually there’s that moment where we’re just cuddling in the dark and we’re looking at each other and our lips barely touch and and and … !!!!!
and then we fall in love and just get to be best friends who live together and it’s scary and new but we already have this sort of silent comfort and AAHHH YES THATS THE LOREEEE!!!!! :33

OKAY SO . i have four main selfships with satoru, suguru, choso, and sukuna. HOWEVER, i didn't originally selfship w sugu i just ... became very unwell abt him once i started writing for him HAHAHAHAHAH and he has not left my mind since!!!! i also go through phases w sukuna and choso depending on how i'm feeling, but my blue-eyed freak is always there in the front of my mind sldjflskdjflskdj SOOO i'm gonna cheat and answer for all four of them >:33 (and i'm putting this under a cut so it doesn't get HORRIBLY LONG HAHAHAHHA)
