i want both.
can you think of any heterosexual explanation for “when you were singing that song, you were singing it to finn and only finn, right?”?
So I'm pretty sure I've made the joke of no heterosexual explanation myself before but actually I can think of one. I'm not saying it's good but it is realistically what I think the writers were going for. It misfired, obviously, but what I think they meant was:
"You really love Finn that much, huh? You love performing and we had the whole club and your dads were there but only he mattered. I guess you do love him so fine, I'm going to the wedding."
Read that from Quinn's POV. Since the whole push and pull is about Quinn opposing the Finchel wedding and, I'm guessing what this line was meant to be about is Quinn bowing before the power of love and the purity of Rachel's feelings for him. Or something.
That said, that's super not what anyone thinks when they watch On My Way. At least, I've yet to meet someone who seriously considers the heterosexual (i.e. actual intended) reasoning. And though I do believe what I wrote above is what it was supposed to be, it's just... gay. Super gay. Super duper Faberry fruity. The author is dead and whatever Dianna Agron had going on when she interpreted scripts killed them. Despite the speculated intention, how the scene reads is Quinn hoping against reason that Rachel isn't singularly focused on Finn, that she can still stop the wedding somehow. With all the Faberry fruitiness going on in these episodes and with Quinn being so vehemently against wedding it really reads like she's heartbroken when Rachel says yes. Yes to only singing to Finn. Because how it reads isn't "you really love Finn, huh" but "you sure you don't love someone else also maybe even me uwu please say you love me". Incredible. And not even my personal fav Faberry line! Maybe top 3 though. I love how iconic this line has become and took on a life of its own.
In any case, I guess Quinn managed to stop the wedding after all, so, a win for the girlbosses? Diversity win, straight wedding stopped by lesbian's car crash.
A cucumber is a FRUIT?!-Quinn
EXACTLY!!
I didn’t fucking know
Whu should I vote Sooting2021?
For the comedy that Wilbur's Tumblr account he hasn't touched in five years would be president and he wouldn't know
which oc is most up to date with the latest trends? which one couldn’t care less?
thank you for the ask sweetie °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
quinn is definitely the one who is always on top with trends since its like her “duty” to know what is in and out of style. i feel like ryder and drew would know a bit as well but not as much as quinn. and one who couldn’t care less would be either isla or alex because they got way better things to do than to worry about “irrelevant” things.
sorry if you’ve answered this already but I was wondering what the lore behind the COA collar is? Whats it made of? Who made it? When was it decided that Quinn would wear it ie be made into the crew’s slave? Tysm!
Oooohh!!! Love that collar 😍
So after Quinn was captured, he was kept in the brig for many hours and Murphy and the rest of the crew were kept in the air lock. During that time, the captain decided that he could both keep Quinn and teach Murphy a lesson while getting himself a pretty little plaything and the men wouldn't fight him on it. So he ordered Jackson to make a collar. Jackson used a metal bracket that fastens gas canisters together and he welded it to a locking mechanism so Quinn couldn't take it off.
The collar fastens a lot like handcuffs do with metal pieces that slip onto one another but with a thick smooth side that goes against his neck. It unlocks with a key and is adjustable, which is why it could fit both Quinn's completely normal sized neck and Collins' massive neck lol
I really wish I could draw what I see in my head!!
Thinking about Quinn, now that he's safe, what is his biggest regret?
Oof.
Collins visibly bristles at the question, squeezing Quinn's hand a little firmer than just moments ago, but he stays quiet.
"We should have done it at night," Quinn says, almost too quickly, "We were foolish to think we could take the ship during the day. We waited until the shift change but-."
Collins swallows hard, guilt flooding his belly knowing full well that he was a large part of why the mutiny failed. He's never felt that blame from Quinn though, never once. He swallows the guilt and looks to Quinn, frowning deeply as he waits for him to finish his thoughts.
Quinn looks back at him, meeting his eye with a softness, a knowing sadness.
"Murphy said it wasn't right, to kill the Captain in his bed," Quinn says, his face hardening as he looks back to you, "I agreed with him back then. It felt wrong. Excessive."
"And now," you ask quietly.
Quinn's lip trembles, in more anger than anything else you think, "Now-I've been in that man's bed. And I think that, the gods, the universe, whatever you believe in, I think they would have been fine with it."
