Delicious goat cheese and quinoa-filled wontons that are crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Perfect for a delightful appetizer or snack.
Ingredients: 1 cup cooked quinoa. 1 cup goat cheese, crumbled. 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped. 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1 package wonton wrappers. Water for sealing wontons. Oil for frying.
Instructions: Crack up some goat cheese, add some chopped green onions and sun-dried tomatoes to a bowl. Add some garlic powder and black pepper as well. Spread out a wonton wrapper and put some of the quinoa mixture in the middle of it. Spray water around the edges of the wonton wrapper, then fold it over the filling to make a triangle. To seal, press the edges together. Do it again with the rest of the filling and wrappers. Get oil ready to fry in a pan. Fry the wontons until they are golden brown and crispy. To make sure they cook evenly, flip them over a few times. Take them out of the pan and put them on paper towels to soak up the extra oil. Enjoy while hot!
