I wish more system blogs would specify if they support endos/quios or not so I won’t have to play the good ‘ole guessing game of “am I going to deal with harassment today”

Like seriously, I look at every blog before I follow (a lot of times I even look through 100s of posts to see if I can find anything that’s for or against endos), and if they don’t say they’re against endos, I go ahead and follow. Shortly after they’re like “why did you, an endo supporter, follow us?! We don’t want endos or their supporters interacting with us!!”

Like sorry but that’s your fault for not specifying in your bio or DNI/BYF page

(also, as a side note, I can’t even count all of the blogs I’ve seen that don’t have a BYF/DNI page. If you don’t have one, but get upset when a certain person follows/interacts with you, that’s your own damn fault.)

To clarify

I am not against people with dissociative disorders having their own terms. In no way do I want to invade their spaces and pose as someone with the disorder when I’m not. What I’ve been trying to say with my posts and reblogs is that endogenic and quiogenic systems are real and deserve respect and human rights. If there are words that are different than DID terminology, while also recognizing that we are people too, then I personally have no problem using them. Off the top of my head, collective is a good example, as I have really only seen it in endogenic spaces. Also, I’m seeing the common misconception that the term “headmate” is just for DID spaces. As far as I know, headmate originated from soulbonding spaces, which are endogenic in nature. If anyone has any proof of the origin of headmate, please link it. And if anyone knows of any more terms that are safe to use, and are not disrespectful to us, please let me know.

Edit: the only reason why I put the traumagenic tag in was not to invade their space, but because this was primarily aimed at those with dissociative disorders, who tend to be traumagenic. It feels fair to let them either pick the terms, or tell us what shouldn’t be used.
