Opening Soon: Although Qiu Xiaofei’s work veers toward abstraction, carefully rendered three-dimensional solids are interspersed into the works which Qiu adds to evoke the rigors of his technical training. Our upcoming Qiu Xiaofei exhibition “Double Pendulum” opens next Thursday, March 10 at 510 W. 25th Street. A catalogue with an essay by Danielle Shag will accompany the exhibition and a public opening reception will be held from 6-8 PM.
