Are Quranists right when they say Hadith/Sunnah is no longer applicable to the world today?
My personal opinion? NO.
In the Quran, Allah(swt) says of Muhamamad (pbuh):
-"...We have revealed unto thee the Remembrance, (The Qur'an,) that you (Muhammad) may explain to mankind that which has been revealed for them.." -16:44
-"Obey Allah and the Messenger haply so you will find mercy." -3:132
-"And whatsoever the Messenger gives you, take it. And whatsoever he forbids, abstain from it." -59:7
Thus, the Quran- while indeed a perfect book- recommends we look to the Hadith for guidance. While we must take into account context, time-and-place, and not take all Hadith literally, Quranism cannot allow the Sufi to have a holistic relationship with the Beloved: we need the help of our Friend and Messenger (pbuh).
And Allah(swt) knows best.
A lot of people become Quranists after studying Bukhari's hadiths [...], but I call most of them full of bullshit. How are you supposed to do Namaz then when you reject the hadith?

Challenging Taboos: Muslim & Tattooed
Although I’ve written about this before, I thought it would be time to write a follow up post for all you tattoo fans out there. For Shia Muslims and some Quranists all tattoos are awesome and many wear them proudly for various reasons, but if you’re a Sunni it might be better to press that little red X in the corner of the webpage because you might just go straight through the roof with what’s…

For all Qur'anists out there,
"And We have not revealed to you the Book, [O Muhammad], except for you to make clear to them that wherein they have differed and as guidance and mercy for a people who believe." (16:64)
The Prophet salaallaahu `alayhi wa sallam is reported to have said that:
"None of you reclines on his bed, the order comes to him on an affair which I am commanded to do or not to do, he says: 'I do not know, what is found in the Book of Allah, we follow." (Tirmithi).
According to another report: "What is found in The Book of Allah as 'Haram' we pronounce it 'haram' (forbidden). Surely, I [the Prophet] am given The Qur'an and its example with it.'
Yet, according to another report: "What the Messanger of Allah has forbidden, Allah has prohibited it."
