أقول لحرّ والمروءة مرؤها — لإخوته المرآة ذ النّور مكحلا
I say to the Qari who is free (of his internal and worldly desires), and the person of good characteristics — who is of benefit (to his brothers and sisters), like the mirror (which benefits he who stands in front of him), a friend to light, the rod of eyeliner

It may seem weird that the Sheikh chose to end the line by mentioning what seems like an unnecessary household item. But some believe that certain types of eyeliner can be beneficial to the eye
When one advises another in the correct manner regarding a fault and the other heeds the advice and benefits from it, it is like when the eye is cured of its illness when the eyeliner from the rod is applied
When we benefit others and benefit from others, we’ve come full circle.
