Keeping up the GISHWHES spirit!
Hello, all! I'm the new kid, Caroline, and I just wanted to let you all know about the new idea we had! Since many of us are still suffering from post-GISHWHES trauma (in the best way possible) and a lot of people feel that they "missed" the Random Actapocalypse, I came up with a way to combine both events into an all-year-round, fun way to keep the good deeds rolling!
Every week, I will post a challenge for a random act of kindness that must be performed in a unique way. We ask that everyone send in pictures, videos, and posts about what they did! At the end of the year, we will create an album to send Misha for his next birthday. It should keep us all in fightin' shape for the next GISHWHES, as well as get a lot of attention for Random Acts and ensure that tons of good deeds are being done all over the place, all the time, Win-win-win scenario!
And don't stress about any of this - it's not a competition! There's no time limit on when you can do one of the challenges and there's no need to do every single one. If you find one you really love, you can do it over and over. It's up to you! This is just about being creative and bold and doing a little extra good for the world!
So, without further ado, here is your first challenge for...uh...the GISHpocalypse? The Random GISHing? The GIRACWHES (Greatest International Random Acts Challenge the Worlds Has Ever Seen)? I dunno, guys, the name is a work in progress...
CHALLENGE #1: Wearing an outfit made entirely from food packaging, deliver a box of donations to a food bank!
Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
