there's a good like 45 seconds left in the day so it's technically still father's day, which I definitely didn't forget about until a few hours ago and totally didn't speedrun making something for. now that that's been established, please accept my animal crossing AU Jack spending time with all his father figures (except That One but we don't talk about him pretend he's the oarfish if you want lool)
unsurprisingly I didn't make Jack into this AU before today since this is my third addition to the AU so I got to scratch my head about what animal he should be but ultimately picked a rabbit (it was between a rabbit, dog, and duck btw) for his sunny disposition. I have him taking part in each of his dads' favorite activities: fishing with Dean (and catching an oarfish which is objectively the funniest thing you can catch in the game alongside the unending sea grapes), learning the value of the turnip stock market with Sam (and thinking about whether they're eaten or not which I assume they are because what else would you do with perishable vegetables in a society where animals presumably don't eat each other??), and identifying bugs with Cas (it's an emperor butterfly, which I'd find all the time in my town)
yep. living life. and the characters are almost kinda sorta consistent for a change whoo (emphasis on kinda sorta)
