The glow of summer was at its peak. Frith shone down brightly, casing away the clouds that had swamped the down in rain as of late. The smell of fresh blooms perfumed the air promising a heaping bounty at silflay, and the breeze offered a nice respite from the unyielding rays of the midday sun.
It was at times like this Bluebell enjoyed sitting over at the edge of the hill, overlooking the vast landscape beyond. He had a tendency to mutter to himself as he did, thinking of new ways to describe the scenes before him for his stories. The environment always provided the most wonderful inspiration. Lately though, it had inspired a new interest for him. One that required him to leave the down for a while and head down the hill towards the thickets and the river. And while normally he went with Blackberry, the other buck was preoccupied today and that meant Bluebell would have to go alone.
Naturally, the idea left him feeling more than a little nervous. Not because the trek was particularly dangerous but because the idea of traveling alone was just... frightening. He looked around, trying to spot anyone who might join him on the journey when he noticed Fiver in the near distance. He smiled a bit, hopping over to the other rabbit and whispering. “Psst, Fiver! Fiver! Can you keep a secret?”
