Wow, unsuspectingly being sucked into talking about race and LGBTQ+ issues with my dad is, unsurprisingly, not among my favorite hobbies but it keeps happening for NO reason

like if it’s not about race on this topic or that one or that other one then when tf is it gonna be about race?? I know you ain’t trying to say racism doesn’t exist anymore so wtf is the deal man

I'M SO SORRY I WAS ABOUT TO JUMP IN TO HELP BUT THEN THE ASSHOLE BROUGHT UP EGALITARIANISM AS IF IT MAKES FEMINISM IRRELEVANT AND I OLLIED OUT...like...cool thx for trying for equality but please don't denounce feminism when feminism literally just wants equality too I'm sorry that the fact that it focuses on society's impression upon femininity and those it's reflected upon but that's the problem at hand theRE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO...sorry that you can't recognize that although people of privilege have the right to hold their own special day that doesn't mean they actually NEED one...

Dad: Well if it's a stereotype there must be some sort of truth to it at least or else it wouldn't exist

Me: *brings up stereotype about white people*

Dad: There's no way that's true

Dad: I don't know anyone who does that

Dad: People didn't do that when I was your age

Dad: That's much more true about [insert non-white race]
