Fitness Friday: (4 days late 🤷🏻♀️)
RunDisney posted this on Friday announcing when registration would open for next years races. This might seem to be barely news worthy except for the real reason for the delay...a new registration system!!! Gone now are the days of using active.com which required you have a separate login and password. Also, you can now register more than one racer at a tome! This is a big deal if you have ever tried to get your multiple people into a popular Disney race and felt the stress of trying to do each registration individually before the race sells out, meaning one of your family or friends could be left out in the non-racing cold. Lastly, it sounds like your race registration will now be tied to the same system as the rest of your Disney vacation. This to me is exciting because it opens up all kinds of possibilities utilizing your magic band and layering that technology with your runDisney experience. Despite having to wait a little longer to book my goal race, Princess Half next February, I’m super excited for this changes and hope it produces a more streamline experience with registering and booking a runDisney “racecaton”.
**FYI this post was started on Friday after the news broke, however, the tiny human in my house had other plans and proceeded to skip a nap and getting into every non-baby thing he could find!
