This is RaceWatch

I think about race a lot. Yea, we all know that race is a "social construct" (well unless you are a hopeless right-winger), whatever that means, but for something that's made up it seems to be a pretty big deal. Understatement of the year? Try the last 500 years or so. But I digress... Anyway, this blog is meant to be an outlet for discussions about all things racial, not to be confused with the pejorative, and more oft-use descriptive racist.  RaceWach is being started by me (hi i'm Dan, nice to meet you too!) but is by no means meant to end with me. I want the conversation to blossom with readers and guest bloggers alike. I'll have my own take on various topics, but I'll also re-blog others, link you to other thinkers, and feature other writers.
