Raddishes (the red spherical ones) - from a seedling to a grown plant (my cats have decided to take nibbles of some of the leaves)

So, given that we're all on a quarantine, I decided to do what I've been planning to do since last year - start my own mini veggie and fruit garden.

Among the different plants I decided to start growing were raddishes - mostly bc they are small, can be cultivated in pots/planters and have a quick growth cycle.

At first I was nervous about whether or not theses babies would germinate... growing plants from seeds can be a bit of a challenge. Especially since each vegetable has different requirememts pertaining to soil, nutrients, watering, sunlight etc.

But lo and behold, not only did these raddishes sprout. They are growing fine and seem to be happy.

Of course the end result is what matters the most, which is what will the bulb look like and if it'd be edible.

But I'll have to see about that in a week and a half, when I'll pull them out.

So I'll keep you posted. :D

PS: I also have other veggies, fruits and herbs that I started growing from seeds. I'll post about those in the future cause they are still growing. XD
