Why is it difficult for bystander to possess chill? I cant remember if you said why before

Wellll Bystander doesn’t just take over with 0 effort - he has to fight them for control, and usually succeeds due to his own experience, his generally stronger willpower, his willingness to fuck with them, the Verse’s backing, and the fact that he normally goes after them in moments of weakness to make it easier for himself. And once the possession has started, it’s much harder to break it than it is to prevent in the beginning. 

As cliche as it is, being in love is a HUGE motivator to stop Bystander from possessing them. It helps reduce the apathy a lot of Vibes suffer from, which usually makes it easier for Bystander. Most Vibes are also well aware that Bystander will torture and sometimes kill the person they care about, and Chill now has first hand experience in this. Chill’s relationship with Crane is also a lot stronger by now compared to when Bystander first possessed him and hurt Crane. 

So, it’d be much tougher for Bystander to take over Chill now (which is usually kinda unpleasant for him anyway due to how much magic Chill has, and the way it makes him rather emotionally unstable and hard to maintain control), and since Crane would have a better chance of guessing that Chill is being possessed, that takes out a lot of the fun for Bystander.

I like to think if Papyrus did have magic it would be Orange for Bravery or Green for Kindness, or both who knows. Sans has two colors.

Yep! If you go by something other than what they can turn your soul in-game it could literally be anything. Since Sans shows yellow and light blue in the game even though he turns you blue. That’s where I like to pull my headcanons from.

I think at one point I had Papyrus orange and blue, since I feel like if anything he could be bravery and integrity the most.

Let’s all be honest though, Papyrus is the perfect boy and any headcanon for his soul color would probably fit him in some way. lol
