The Three Treeangle Patrons

((This is heavily AU. Specifically, Chill Out AU! While these characters also exist in other alternate universes, this description is solely meant to explain Chill Out Lore.))

Before the reign of Chronos, Paradise was once home to more than just normal shapes.

Among the mortal shapes that made up most of the population, there existed a race of creatures that were much more in tune with their songs than their companions.

Similar to Phantom Beat in all but physical body, these beings where known as the Geoprisms, created by pure magic from the Treeangle.

Because of their immortal, magical nature, these beings were able to revive their own cores a nigh infinite amount of times, making them powerful defenders of Paradise.

It is said that the first shapes to harness music in their powers were actually members of this species. However, they all died out, almost completely stripped of their powers when a mysterious disaster struck the region.

Most of the Geoprisms were wiped out, few remaining by the time the first mortal shapes came about.

The last three of these beings were protectors of the Treeangle, a Pentagon known as Apothem, a Circle known as Radii, and a Triangle known as Hypotenuse.

Radii was a gentle and caring, yet timid soul. She cared for creatures of all sizes, often enlisted to watch over the region’s youth. She was unfortunately shattered by Corrupted when the pink menace revolted against Paradise. It is said that she died doing the very thing that earned her her recognition; defending innocents from danger.

Apothem was a no-nonsense, strict general of Paradise’s only line of defense. He fought with little to no mercy against his enemies, often shattering those who threatened the safety of his home. He was shattered by Corrupted in combat.

The least noble of the Patrons was the vain Hypotenuse. Famed for her golden hue and shining magic, she chose to remain hidden away, locked in a tomb of her own wealth while Corrupted ravaged the land. She died of light deprivation, wasting away into nothing but a faint song and a pile of golden dust.

It is said that a fourth Patron existed, but little is known about him, other than his name. The Dreaded Prism, defender of kings... the end to all monsters... including himself.
