i’ve read wildwood dancing too and it’s good! but imo sevenwaters is in a whole other league. pretty sure it’s widely considered her best work?

i also recommend her blackthorn and grim series and the light isles novels by her as well though. i just recently finished blackthorn and grim and really loved it.

My last irl crush was a couple years ago: I met a guy named Kirk (no joke!!!) at a Renaissance Fair. Then later that night I was drunk and depressed and he showed up suddenly and ended up helping me find my way out of the woods to my friends who drove me home. It was embarrassing in retrospect. I never did get the guy’s number or anything.  what do you like about yourself: This is a hard question. Ummm I’m a decent cook, I’m interested in lots of things and I enjoy learning, I’m good with kids, good with makeup/fashion, I can draw, I always try to be kind.   
tattoos: No I’m way too fickle for that kind of permanence haha. 

FIRSTS: 
first surgery: Never had it. Got stitches once when I was a toddler though-- I was jumping on the bed and fell off, hitting my head on the corner of a table. Yikes. first piercing: Ears, but I had to let the holes grow over because I was allergic to the metal or something and they kept getting infected. 
first sport you joined: Is baton a sport? In 3rd grade I was in batons (I can still twirl those things and do some little tricks lol). If not, then in middle school I was briefly on the basketball team-- I was really bad and I didn’t like it though. 
first vacation: My family rarely took me on vacations, but I think my first might have been when I was a baby and my mom took me to Lake Michigan. 
first pair of trainers/sneakers: ??? No idea As a kid I didn’t notice my clothes very much. The first ones I can remember might have had Jasmine and Rajah on them. waiting for: Myself, to get my life together. wanting kids: I go back and forth on this all the time. I do love kids but there’s so many factors to consider. 
career: Ohhhhh god I wish I knew???? This having no direction in life thing is the root cause of about 80% of my stress, anxiety, and depression tbh. Like I said though, I am employed at least. 
lips or eyes: This is so vague-- are we talking about me or ~romantic interests~ or just aesthetics? Eyes I guess, for all the above. hugs or kisses: Idk 
shorter or taller: Almost everyone is taller than me so. Taller. older or younger: Older. 
romantic or spontaneous: Not too spontaneous-- I need to prepare for stuff. But also some spontaneity is great too, routines can easily get boring.  sensitive or loud: Loud people can sometimes be fun in small doses but they can easily get on my nerves too so... sensitive. hookup or relationship: Relationship. I honestly cannot fathom a hookup for myself on soooo many levels.  troublemaker or hesitant: I hate people who stir up shit for the sake of it so definitely hesitant. Conflict stresses me out so much.

lost glasses or contacts: Yeah. Just cheap sunglasses though. broke someone’s heart: Oh god... well, maybe??? I hate to think so but it’s definitely possible. 
been arrested: Lol noooo. I’ve trespassed before but that’s it. The most I’ve gotten was 2 parking tickets. turned someone down: Yeah  
cried when someone died: Yes 
fallen for a friend: Sort of. In HS I liked this one guy for a while and we were friends, but I think I liked him from the start so it wasn’t like we were friends first and then I developed feelings. But my crush on him petered out once I knew him better haha and then he moved away.

DO YOU BELIEVE: 
in yourself: Depends on the context. in
 miracles: Kinda-- I definitely think there’s a lot we don’t know about the universe and that “miracles” happen, but ultimately I think there’s an explanation behind everything that happens even if we don’t understand it. Not that life isn’t miraculous on its own though, because I truly believe it is. 
in love at first sight: I think it’s possible to feel a kind of spiritual/instinctual connection at first sight (and attraction obviously)... don’t know that I would call it love at first sight, necessarily? Maybe. But in general, like I wrote in one of my fics once, I believe in a premonition of love. Pretty sure that’s in one of my Thommy fics? in 
santa claus: Um, no. But we do “become Santa” when we grow up and give presents to people and the little kids who believe in him-- we kind of keep the magic going for them. So in that sense, yes. in 
kissing on the first date: Sure. Do what you and the other person feel, I hate arbitrary social rules so much.
