There were only a few friends in town that Adriana really cherished having around her and Rafe had made the cut to be one of them. Having him there on her arm for the event made things feel a lot lighter. She never minded the attention she got, the wandering eyes that always seemed to find her. But ever since the baby shower, those eyes had turned a lot colder. "Thank you." She nudges him lightly with her arm as they walk through the Conrad. "I know I don't need to say that because you should feel lucky to have someone who looks as good as me with you tonight but thank you for being here with me. I needed a friend, I needed you."

"Hey troublemaker." Ana gave Rafe a push against his arm with her own as she approached the side of him. Standing close to the edge of the bar counter, she waved the bartender over. Her eyes trailing over all the alcohol options that she missed dearly before putting in an order for ginger ale with a small sigh before turning back to her friend. "You getting wasted tonight with everyone else or what?"
