I just wanted to let you know that I don't think I've come across a single piece of your work that I didn't enjoy for its humor, emotion, or just pure awesomeness. I always look forward to getting home from work and seeing that you've posted something new and knowing that I'll get to read it with a nice cup of tea. And I know that as a writer part of it is for yourself, but I want to say thank you for all your fantastic and creative work and I hope you have a wonderful day :) -R
Awwww. Gosh, thanks. My day is now more wonderful because you took the time to say this. You are one of my most regular Regulars...actually, I’m pretty sure you are my Top Regular, and yet also possibly my quietest, so I really really appreciate you stepping out of your bubble to send me a little kindness. You are awesome and please know I see you hittin’ up my posts all the time and I am grateful for your followship.
I have noticed a lot of my followers refer to reading my fics with a cup of tea. I feel like I may need to make a tea rec post at some point because, fun fact: I was the manager at an awesome tea shop/cafe for a couple years and only left the job because my father got cancer and so my life situation had to change. Part of my job at the shop was to taste dozens of tea samples a week to determine which were worth rotating into our selection of a few hundred, and I call myself a tea pimp, sending out care packages to my friends/family. Point being: I can talk your ear off about tea, and I know lots of awesome teas.
