You don't know about my ocs mostly because I have a terrible habit of keeping them to myself lmao. But yes I do have some (We'll ignore the mountain of warrior cats ocs I have, they are for another post perhaps)
Anyways, meet Amanda, their mother Sylvia, Seville, Callie and Rahka!
They are all part of a furry/anthro world I've been playing with for a year or two now.
It's mostly an excuse to have fun with some worldbuilding: I had a study night to learn about climates and I should do one again. Lately I've been thinking about the world they live on in general and trying to base it a bit too much on wild Greco Roman ideas they had (flat yes(well not always), but it's weirder than that, trust me)
I am also using the shitton of stupid info I have on the Greco Roman world and other European history to base the groups on. One of them (the main one lol) is based quite heavily on the period of time right when Octavian managed to consolidate power and become emperor Augustus. The story is set right in the sweet spot as Augustus has full power and uses it to control everything.
Another group is somewhat based on the political situation in Greece: all small city states who hate each others guts, but hate people outside of their vague cultural group more, so they will work together if it means bot having to deal with "barbarians" anymore

all of that that isn't even important to the story itself because it's a story about generational trauma <3
Sylvia comes from a long, cursed bloodline and left when Amanda was barely born. She isn't a good mom, but she tried, but she failed miserably.
Amanda is a mess as the story begins (their name means "to (be) love(d)" btw, found it funny to have a character with the personality of a tarpit be named that). They just met Seville barely a year ago and the two are in that tentative period of their friendship where they're starting to trust each other, but it's still a bit stilted at times.
Anyways, Rahka, who was for all of Amanda's life basically their one good adult figure gets kidnapped (for reasons I might make another whole post for as it is a bit complex, but Trust Me, there are reasons) and Amanda loses their entire shit and tries everything to get them back. Along the way they discover stuff that should have probably been left uncovered, but also a whole mess they are somehow cursed to deal with (bloodline and all, yano)
Seville meanwhile somehow got dragged i to a whole quest to save someone they met like twice at best and it is going to reveal a lot about both Amanda and Seville while they try to find Rahka again.
Callie meanwhile² is the daughter of Augustus, who doesn't participate in the whole quest, but Seville often babysat her (she's like 6 in human age) and she gets Sev connected to very high power, which isn't always a good thing.
This whole thing is really just an excuse for me to throw traumas at different characters and see how they (fail to) manage it. I might try to post a bit more about this if you want lmao. I do already have a fair bit of lore that I've come up with slowly but surely (although it is a mess with notes everywhere and things I've already half forgotten at this point given the fact that I note them very haphazardly)
