Rahmi Watson came here from Oasis Springs with her husband Thomas, with a promise of a better life. But Thomas and her divorced. I wasn't sure the reasons until much later, but he and their oldest daughter, Raishda lived in San Myshuno now.
Her eldest, Imran took over working the farm and Rahmi’s preserves and canned foods became their livelihood. Imran met D’Andre Holland and once they became 18, D’Andre moved in with them to help on the farm as well.
The youngest, Maira and I became very close friends over the years. She was ALMOST as smart as I was!
Their home was right down the lane from ours, and Mama and Rahmi also became good friends.
