I try and try, but I just can’t stop listening to this.
This portrait is of Idan Raichel, an Israeli singer/songwriter/musician. I had started working on this a few weeks ago and then put it off, but then I found out he's going to be performing in LA next week, so I tried to finish it up so that I can give him a copy after the concert. Not sure if I'm 100% ready to call it finished, but I'm really tired of working on it, heh. Feedback is welcome, if anyone spots anything that needs work or improvement! Since I'm going to give him a copy, I want it to be as perfect as possible. This is the most complex background I’ve painted in a long time...
