which proved to be difficult.
in the following few days of receiving the solution, you had no interest in taking it. even if mei tried to sneak a bit into food you knew that it was in there. the herrscher cursed how smart you really were even if you were in a child's body and had a child's mind. you'd even try to fight her if she tried to inject it into you with a syringe.
"another day, another failure?" mobius walked towards mei. or did she drift? mei really didn't know how she went around with the case that mobius uses to move around.
"as always," mei sighed as mobius took a seat beside her.
at this moment, you'd be with elysia again to play with her in the main room. or you'd be with sakura helping her cook some food. you had barely left the elysian realm if mei was ever in it and in that time, you had grown attached to everyone in it. even if they were sims, you didn't want to say goodbye to them when you'd be turned back to normal. you threw a "tantrum" about it when mei first tried to give you the solution.
"haven't you tried injecting it into them? i could always help."
mei stayed silent. the sly smile on mobius' face was really off-putting. "that was the first i tried and they still fought against it. they just don't want to leave the realm when they get turned back to normal."
"why not let them stay?" ah, so you must've been with sakura if elysia came into the room, "if the present kevin is fine with them staying here now, then he must let them stay after it. besides~ it'd be nice to see them fighting in the elysian realm."
"you could also get elysia to talk them into taking it as well," mobius added in, a bit of poison now on her words with elysia coming in.
mei nodded to both suggestions. maybe she could talk to kevin about it another day and have elysia help you take the solution.
the herrscher spoke to kevin about it, who has hesitant about the idea. the elysian realm was a very secret place that not many people had been into after all. but now, it was the only thing that was keeping you from taking the solution.
the man sighed on his throne, "if they must. i suppose it is alright letting them know about about the truth of this."
mei nodded, "thank you, sir."
the herrscher walked away and sighed in relief at his agreement to the suggestion. at this moment, you'd have to be playing with elysia. and with the solution in mei's hand, she knew it was time to give it to you.
"i'm not taking the stupid serum! i don't want to leave miss elysia!" there was another tantrum.
elysia gave a sympathetic smile to mei as you thrashed around in the elf's arms. this was expected yet still a surprise. seeing such a "normal kid" now throwing a fit over the whole thing.
"well listen y/n, kevin gave you permission to stay here! so even when you take it, you can still see miss elysia and spend time with her," mei tried to reason with you. and it worked!
"can i really stay with miss elysia even after i take it?"
"of course!" elysia smiled, "now you can spend as much time with miss elysia as you want."
"if… if it lets me spend more time with miss elysia, then i'll take it."
elysia and mei let out a sigh of relief as you sat down in the lounge. they decided the easiest way for you to take it would have to be a quick injection that would only last a few seconds. and after that, you could sleep in the lounge and await your introduction into the proper elysian realm.
and so you did. after you took the solution and laid onto the couch, drowsiness took over and you fell asleep.
mei watched you dose with a tired look on her face.
"finally happy to get time off from babysitting?" elysia asked.
"it was fun, but we can finally get one of our scientist's back now. be careful with them tomorrow," mei said.
elysia nodded as mei left the realm.
you woke up with a start. was that entire child thing a dream or what? but when you looked at your surroundings, it did look similar to the dreams… so it couldn't have been.
so you really did mess up that badly on the experiment!
"welcome to the elysian realm, y/n."
and a familiar voice too…
there she was. the pink elf that was you remember meeting all those days ago. now she wasn't as tall as you thought she was, though. you stood from the couch on the lounge, the pink elf walked towards you.
"now that you aren't a child anymore, would you like to learn more about this place?"
OKAY THEN *cracks knuckles* one WS scientist (reader) turned themselves into a child. Nobody knew how they did it, and trying to read the notes was a nightmare (reader has doctor writing). So, in the meanwhile, they decided to let Natasha take care of them, but there was a problem, they wanted Mei and only Mei. (they threw a tantrum... so noisy..). Mei accepted (begrudgingly) to take care of them the time she wasn't in Elysian realm while Kevin and Jackal tried to search a way to turn them [1/?]

well, the kid looked like you. same face just squishier, same clothing just smaller, same everything just… tinier. was this you? this had to be you, right? there'd be no other way that this kid that looked almost exactly like you couldn't be you now.
mei walked over to the kid who looked just like you. the kid looked up at her, childish eyes staring at her with a frustrated look written all over their face. if mei didn't need you for part of a mission that was coming up for raven then she would have laughed. but with a random kid that looked like you, and probably was you.
"y/n?"
"the experiment went wrong!" the sudden shouting from the kid surprised mei.
she watched as the kid, now known as you, flailed their arms around in a tantrum.
"wha-" but mei couldn't even get the first word of her question out fully before the door to your lab was opened again.
"mei? what's taking you so lo- oh."
raven walked to the purple-haired girl's side as they both watched you yell about your experiment for a bit longer before deciding it was no use. they both shared a look before mei walked to your desk, where the files on your most recent project were written down.
"all of these are unreadable," mei said. true to her word, all of your hand written notes were all scribbled around and shaped into weird curves.
"not surprising," raven shrugged as she picked you up into her arms, "our childish scientist here isn't known for having readable handwriting."
you huffed but said nothing in reply to your coworker's comment.
"whatever it was they're trying to do, it obviously went horribly wrong. we should go report this to kevin to find out what to do with this… situation we have here. there's still a mission to prepare for in a few days after all."
raven nodded, "I'll watch over y/n for now. if we're lucky, jackal and kevin should find the cure to this predicament within a few days."
within the following days, raven and mei were the ones to take care of you. jackal, and sometimes kevin, had taken over the role of trying to find the cure for you. side effects of the failed experiment also seemed to show themselves overtime as well. you started to exhibit more childlike behaviors.
while you were still as smart as before, you were way more energetic now. you enjoyed playing games, coloring, or just flat out running around. if raven or mei were more curious, they would let you loose on jackal's entire lab area to see what you would do. what was more strange, you started to call mei 'big sister mei' and raven 'aunty raven.' no one else got the treatment of familial nicknames except those two but it was half expected as they were your main caretakers.
you had also grown strangely attached to mei. it was fine when raven would take care of you but you still preferred when mei was with you. you'd play with the horns she had in her herrscher form or braid her hair when she let you do it. to onlookers it was strange to watch a herrscher play with a child but to mei it was strangely nice to do so.
being in world serpent was stressful, of course. stress was the only common thing everyone in the organization had in common by now. but with you, mei got a bit of a time off.
but that wasn't today.
"watch them for the day, i'm spending time at ER," mei said. she passed you over to raven who nodded.
"mei! why're you going to the ER? are you hurt?" you asked the herrscher questions before she could walk away for the day.
"i'm visiting a special place only i can go to right now, okay?" mei explained lightly, "don't cause any trouble for aunty raven, alright?"
you nodded, watching sadly as the herrscher turned to leave.
what felt like hours seemed to pass as you waited for the herrscher to show up. no matter what raven tried to do to make you feel better, you had little interest in what she was trying to do. even when raven got up to speak to an unknown member you zoned out and stared at the blank wall. it was way too boring.
"i have to leave for a bit," raven's voice pulled you away from the wall before she continued, "an important mission came up so aunty raven has to go take care of it. don't cause any trouble, alright? aunty raven doesn't want to deal with uncle kevin's absurd paperwork later."
you nodded as raven and the unknown member left, leaving you.
all on your own.
with no one to watch you.
wandering around the entire building, you found a room that had two very large doors. even if aunty raven told you to stay and not cause trouble, you still wanted to find big sister mei! she said she was in the ER, whatever that meant, so you had to find her!
opening the large doors you found a very large main room. it branched into two other rooms around the middle. one that looked super boring, and the other with a comfy looking couch inside of it. obviously you turned to the one with the super comfy looking couch in it.
inside of it there were also… two other people?
one was a lady with pink hair that was tied up, she had cute looking elf ears that stuck out too. and another was a girl with really long green hair and a tight looking dress. they both sat on the couch, far away from each other, not looking like the particularly wanted to talk at all.
and with no care in the entire world, you stepped into the room. both of the ladies jolted up to look at you as you walked towards the couch. the lady with green hair gave a sly smile as she watched you climb onto the middle of the couch.
as you thought, it was indeed comfy.
"and who do you happen to be?" the lady with green hair asked, she brought herself closer to you on the couch.
"i'm waiting for big sister mei. aunty raven left me alone because she had a super important missions to take care of and big sister mei said she had to go to the 'ER' today," you huffed out.
"well your big sister mei never told us about you! you're the cutest thing i've ever seen," the pink haired lady smiled. she sat closer to you, putting an arm around your shoulder and dragging you even closer to you.
"my name is elysia and the green lady is named mobius. you happen to be within the elysian realm where your big sister mei said she would be at for the day. she happens to be busy right now but she'll be out very soon! then she can properly introduce you to us."
little time seemed to pass as you spent time with both of the girls you had just met. mobius asked a lot of questions about you and even more when you said you're not even supposed to look like this.
"oh? then what happened?" she asked.
"i accidentally messed up a stupid experiment i was trying to do! now i'm stuck like this for the next few days. big sister mei and aunty raven have been taking care of me while jackal and kevin try to 'fix me' now. but it's taking so long!"
your little hands messed with elysia's hair more as you continued to rant about how you got stuck in this little form. unknown to you, mobius was already thinking of some of her own experiments that could be done with your assistance.
"y/n? what're you doing here?"
and speak of the herrscher you were looking for this entire time.
"big sister mei!" you cheered.
you let go of elysia's hair and ran to mei to hug her. even with shock written all over her features, she still picked you up into her arms and held you.
"how did you get here?" mei asked.
"well, i went through what must've been the entire headquarters here. aunty raven left for an important mission but i didn't want to be all alone! so i came to find you but met these nice ladies!"
you pointed at mobius and elysia, who waved right back at mei. the herrscher sighed as she put you down, telling you to go play with the two ladies you had just met. she eyed mobius as you ran to elysia to finish braiding up her hair messily.
"any plans?" kevin's voice appeared beside mei.
"i'll have to write a long report now… how did they even find this place?"
kevin gave a half shrug and watched with mei as you played with elysia's hair.
the herrscher would have to wait knowing that once she left, there'd be a ton of questions for her.

you three have a very nice relationship that is very good. well, before everything goes to hell.
kiana is definitely a cuddle bug, she wants to be holding the both of you at all times. of course that's not possible but when the three of you are free then she's making up for lost time! it doesn't matter what position or if you're cuddling on the floor or on a really comfy bed, she just likes holding you and mei.
of course, if you aren't comfortable with cuddling when she'll (sadly) agree to not forcing you to cuddle. but she hopes she can help you and mei warm up to cuddling with her in the future. she just really likes to hold people honestly.
if you can't cook, then mei is your gal! kiana of course, can't cook, so she's not much hope either. but not to worry! our smart girl mei has it covered. she'll make anything that kiana or you request. unless well… it's something she can't physically cook. she'll try for new recipes though!
in the beginning, of course your relationship is good. the three of you work together wonderfully and it helps that you've all known each other before going to st. freya. so you'd always stick together, right?
why did kiana leave then? and even once mei got her back, mei left too. why did they both leave?
