Remus: picks the comfiest seat, pours a big cup of tea, grabs a blanket and a book to read because it's "perfect reading weather Pads"
Regulus: sits at the window watching Sirius and James, secret smile on his face to see two people he loves happy, enjoys the aesthetic of rain but will NOT go outside without an umberella
Peter: starts by going outside with James and Sirius, ends up inside first because he gets too cold. Forced to have some warm tea by Lily and snuggles in a blanket. Eventually transforms into Wormtail to take a nap on the windowsill.
Lily: gets towels and blankets for James, Sirius and Peter (theres no use in telling them not to go outside). Puts a pot of tea on and snuggles under the blanket next to Remus, watching the world go by for a quiet minute.

Summary: a first date with rain.
Rain had grown up, never knowing why his parents had left him. It was a secret up until he was old enough to learn. It was because he was a married man who had an affair. He didn't want to bring shame to his family and therefore acted as if Rain had never existed, sending him to live with the poor. Rain's mother died of grief, believing her son had never survived birth. Rain hated his father. He was the reason she had died. He was never loved by anyone except the Earthrealm humans who saw him as a god and Mileena. He never really looked for love or thought anything of it. He knew he wouldn't find anyone or one day someone would find him.
He was exactly right. When you came wandering into Outworld, it was obvious you did not belong. He wanted to avoid you, as it wasn't his business. He wanted to walk away, and yet, he stayed. Watching you from the rooftops. He saw the danger that was nearing you and quickly teleported to save you. Disappearing once again, he returned to his place. You never once saw him, but you did get the feeling of being watched.
Rain cursed himself for being so afraid of a mere human. You couldn't hurt him, even if you tried. He knew that. He also knew your people looked up to him. He shouldn't be such a coward. He teleported off the roof and down somewhere near you. He didn't want to scare you, but he did want to talk to you.
"Hello." He said as he gently touched your shoulder.
You turned around to face him and smiled.
"Hi, I'm Y/N." You said as you offered your hand to him.
He took it, but he wasn't quite sure what to do with it.
"I'm Rain, Prince of Edenia." He said as you shook his hand and let go of him.
"It's nice to meet you."
He blinked. His mask prevented you from seeing anything other than his eyes. To you, he looked emotionless. He was surprised. Most people would have respect for the royalty, and yet, you did nothing.
"You're not from here?" He asked, his eyes slightly narrowing in confusion.
"No, I'm not."
"Where are you from?"
"A place called Earth. I'm lost and need to find someone to help me get back, or at least find a place to stay the night."
"I can help you." He said, and he only slightly regretted those words after he spoke them.
He allowed you to stay with him in one of his houses for the time being, another regret that he had. He couldn't understand what was wrong with him. He didn't want you to leave, and yet when the next day came. He walked you to a place that he thought might take you home. He walked through the portal with you to ensure that you would be safe. He could easily teleport back to safety if he needed to.
"I know we only just met," He said loud enough that you could hear him while he looked away. He pulled down his mask and knelt on the ground, his hands holding yours.
"Will you marry me?" He asked as he looked up at you.
You blinked. "Do you mean a date?"
He breathed in. He didn't want to embarrass himself even further, so he went along with it.
"Yes, I do."
"I'd love to." You said, smiling at him.
He gave a small smile back.
"Where should we meet?" He asked, not entirely knowing what was happening next.
"I can try to return or you could meet me here again and I'll take you to a restaurant here in my town?"
"I'll meet you here tomorrow?"
"That sounds good." You agreed, and you both walked away, in opposite directions.
The next day came. Rain stood in the spot, waiting for you to arrive. When you arrived, you smiled and greeted him. He greeted you back, and you led him to the restaurant.
There, you both would eat and get to know each other better. When it was time to go, you led Rain to the portal. You didn't want him getting lost or hurt in the city.
"Thank you, Y/N. Is this what humans do?"
"Yes, it's the step before marriage and before becoming a couple."
He nodded.
"I wish to see you again."
You smiled and planned another date with him, this time in his world. He kissed your hand and walked away.
You smiled as he stepped into the portal, and you headed to your house.

Swiss has definitely been summoned for longer than Rain, so when he saw this small shy ghoul that had a spark in his eye he knew he had to take him under his wing and help him get used to his new life as a summoned band ghoul on earth. Swiss might be a bundle of chaotic energy most of the time, but he's also an incredibly caring ghoul, so helping Rain get settled came super easily to him.
They've been stuck like glue pretty much since Rain's summoning, Swiss showed him the way the clergy worked, how to interact with the clergy and the siblings, and what to expect when they started touring.
Even though the band ghouls have their own rooms, more often than not you'll find them bunking together for the company. You'll usually find Rain and Swiss bundled up together in a huge nest of pillows and blankets snoozing together.
You'd never know unless you caught them red-handed, but Rain is involved in 99.9% of Swiss' pranks, and more often than you'd think the pranks are Rain's idea! Anytime Swiss gets caught he NEVER gives up his accomplice, it's one of the reasons everyone thinks Rain is still a soft, shy ghoul when really he's a cheeky little sod who loves to prank people just as much as his best friend. They definitely use Rain's innocence to their advantage, especially when they're pranking higher up members of the clergy.
When they aren't running around the Abbey causing trouble you'll find them in one of three places.
In the practice room jamming together. Swiss thought he might have to help Rain get used to the bass but he took to it like a duck to water, so instead they just practice and jam together. Rain loves to listen to Swiss sing, and each time they go to jam he'll have a new song for them to learn just so he can listen to Swiss sing.
Another place you'll find them is out by the lake. Swiss is the only ghoul that can keep pace with Rain while they're swimming Swiss still hasn't realised Rain is letting him keep pace. It's where they go when they need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Abbey (and Dews shenanigans).
The final place you'll find them is the top of the Abbey Bell Tower. This was Swiss' secret hiding place before Rain was summoned, and now its their hiding place. It's super quiet at the top of the tower other than the occasional bird song from the nests above them. This is where they plan their pranks. But it's also where they go when they've had a bad day. They've snuck some spare pillows and blankets up there and will scurry up the tower stairs and pile into their mini nest to destress.
When Rain invades Swiss' platform on stage and they dance together? Swiss absolutely adores it. Rain knows that Swiss isn't a fan of being confined to his platform and if he was allowed he'd be roaming the stage interacting with the other ghouls and the crowd but let's face it if he was allowed to do that he'd outshine Papa. So Rain pops up to keep him company for a bit and they have a groove together. Rain also likes to get away from Dew's feral energy even if it's just for a few minutes.
Rain, as we all know, is not a bad person. Yes, she’s done bad things, like she’s killed a couple of people and she often gets into fights and uses sex as a means of asserting dominance, but she’s not a bad person.
Hear me out, here. Rain has tried time and time again to be a good person. She works at shelters, she worked at the humane society, she volunteered taking care of Holger Palmgren, but nothing ever works out. At the end of the day, people always turn their backs on her, and it’s hard for her to recover from so many betrayals. She might have been able to trust society more after her father left, but then when she was locked up and sent into a society where a lot of people looked at her as though she were a freak, she reverted into old habits and became the monster she feared she really was.
Now, this is not to say she hops about killing people all day, but she has less of a moral compass than she ought to, and this is a very important part of her character. She doesn’t judge things based on right or wrong. A lot of her actions are motivated both by vengeance and by a need to protect herself. This includes protecting herself from physical threats, such as her father and Soderholm, both of whom she had a hand in killing or leading to their deaths, as well as protecting herself from smaller pains, like love.
So, if Rain does come off as very defensive or even hostile in a thread, it’s not necessarily because she is trying to scare or harm your character, it’s simply a way to cope with her long list of betrayals by protecting herself. It’s important that we don’t forget she’s been labeled as paranoid, sociopathic, and violent. She’s dangerous, I’m not going to lie, but she’s trying, and that’s just really important for me to note here.
