Really thought making maps would be fun, QGIS is nowhere near as hostile as other softwares, but now I can’t put the scales and grids and I’m gonna cry

so today i was bakin shit in my pajamas and my parents have hardwired into my brain not to open the door to strangers even tho im old enough to talk to strangers but anyway im baking and my dad’s in the bathroom and the doorbell rings and I thought it was just my mom getting home so i went to open it, but it was FedEx man and we made eye contact coz there’s a window in the door and i forgot i was wearing pajamas so i opened the door and he asked me “is this (house number)?” and it’s raining really hard so i couldn’t hear him and he repeated it and i was like “yeah” so he gave me a package and he sprinted off into the pouring rain and i closed the door to read the label and it was our neighbor’s package

in short: answered door in pajamas, was FedEx guy confirming address, couldn’t hear him, got neighbor’s package
