Rainbow walk from yesterday. It’s tricky to find colours in the middle of the wet season as everything is just green, green, green.
I think those are most (if not all idk) my lgbtq OCs. Just wanted to make a rainbow thing
While walking the Bondi coastline today, I felt a strange feeling. I was walking among thousands of people who were all there for the same reason - they were fighting for love. Not only was the LGBTQ+ community there, those who already have the right to marry were there to show their love and support. Regardless of their sexuality - everyone dressed up in their brightest clothes, draped themselves in rainbow flags and took a stand to show that marriage equality is so important and shouldn't even be a question. To see people from all walks of life, walk together, gave me a feeling which I've found hard to find lately - I found hope. Hope that the law will finally pass and I will finally have the right to love without boundaries 🌈✨
Our first rainbow walk 🌈 We found something of each colour of the rainbow.

Happy positive asks week!
Popping into your asks with a fun little thing I thought of:
Have you ever heard of a rainbow walk? Its a thing you do for meditation/mindfulness where you go through each color of the rainbow and come up with/ imagine an experience/something associated with each color that makes you happy/relaxed.
So, let's go for a rainbow walk!
Describe to me something that's
Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Purple
And when you write them try to imagine each thing using your senses and immerse yourself in the experience!

Hi Saturn!!!! 🪐💕
I have never heard of a rainbow walk and I think it’s so cool.
❤️ Red makes me think of home and comfort because it makes me think of one of my very best friends. My Person, really. Red is her favorite color. It is also my son’s favorite color, so it reminds me of his red puffy winter coat he chose all on his own this year.
🧡 There are several posts around here about the connection between oranges and love. But there’s one in particular that got me started on the idea. It has a line that gets me every time: I peel an orange and I give you half. In the time it took to separate it, I fell in love with you again.
💛 Daffodils. I grow them in my garden and look forward to them every year. The pop of color, like little rays of sunshine while the world is still thawing from winter.
💚 hiking in the spring, when buds are forming on the trees, new flowers are pushing through to come to the surface. Green moss on the rocks in creek beds. Inhaling dirt and earth and damp and new and alive.
💙 watching the blue jays compete with the squirrels while they dive for peanuts in the backyard
💜 this color took me the longest, because purple isn’t something that shows up a lot in my life generally. But the thing I came to realize is that so many of my Pocket Friends list purple as their favorite color. So to me it represents those bonds.
Thank you for sending this and being so patient while I thought up answers 🪐💞🦛
