I thought I'd jump on the Twisted Wonderland bandwagon and was looking for advice. Since it's an all boys school, there are no girls other than MC if you so choose to make them female so why have I seen multiple female OCs for the Twisted Wonderland fandom? Sorry if this question seems ignorant or silly 😳

Another amazing question, Rainbow! Its a topic that I’ve seen debated in the fandom a lot, so thank you for being respectful with it.

I don’t want to speak for everyone that makes female OC’s for Twst, but in my own personal experience, I just do it because it’s fun.

Some people who want to try to stay a bit more with the canon like myself come up with reasons why a female might be allowed on campus. For example, Azul is a part demon and can change her physical sex at will, so she technically can be counted as a boy even though she takes a female form most of the time. Another example, Nanami is allowed to attend on special exception because her unique magic is so dangerous, and there are very few schools that are equipped to deal with people like her that very easily overblot.

I’m fully aware that NRC is an all boys school, but everything we do on tumblr is just for fun, so there’s no harm in thinking and talking about the “what-if’s.” No one is expecting anything on here to be canon in any way, shape, or form, so there’s really no harm in it. Limiting a person’s creativity is the last thing we all want to do, after all, and I think all twst OC’s are amazing regardless of gender.

Favourite food: I really like Ikura (salmon roe). My twitter bio actually says I take commission payments in ikura and USD lol.

Play any instruments: I was forced to play piano for 12 years, but other than that, I’ve just been taking vocal lessons from friend of mine who used to be a vocal coach.
