I’m still recovering from the completion of my KakaYama fanbook. But I love this event and really want to do something! Here’s a small contribution. More under cut.

“I’m guarding the Hokage” is not a good excuse. Actually, a very very bad one. Garra thinks he knows the reason behind it, not that he understands the outcome. Being a Kage is not easy. There are times that he hope he can do something similar, though not clingy to another person like this. “Come on, Senpai, you have a meeting right now. Behave. See, Kazekage-sama is here.” Yamato, the sixth Hokage’s assistant and right-hand man and partner, is doing his best to coax Kakashi Hatake. “We can have lunch together once you finish the meeting.” “Promise?” “Yes.” A man, about double the age of him, is acting like a five-year-old, wanting everything he can get at the moment. Not that he can blame him. Being a Kage is a tough job. Still, “how do you convince everyone that you’re actually a functional adult?” is a question Garra wants to ask Kakashi later.

P A R T   2 !

Got so much inspiration and had this idea interrupting my day in a very good way and it's been years to have this IF I DON'T DO IT NOW I WILL NEVER DO IT moment. So yes here's more thought to Akatsuki!Yamato.

They both have feeling for other also know there are too many reasons to remain silent about it

Finally they reconnect when Yamato comes to lead Kakashi's team

It feels so nice Kakashi is considering confess his love

Too much work and sudden attack

Yamato gets captured while on his way back to village, alone and too worried about Naruto to let his guard down

Tobi/Obito uses sharingan to get Yamato's memory and brainwash him

He may or may not know Kakashi's feeling for Yamato

Sure Yamato is important enough of a comrade for Kakashi to care

Kakashi learns about Yamato's capture after days, once he's recovered from resurrection

He is trying to save Yamato but fails
