This beauty is a homemade water filter, it was made by one of our grade seven students, he believes that we should use rain collectors to collect water for purposes such as flooding an ice rink, watering your garden, and in your toilets. He used an old coffee tin, air dry clay, craft foam some sheer fabric and hot glue. The step he took are: 1. Find an old coffee tin that you want too revamp! 2. Cut a hole in the lid. 3. Glue the fabric over the hole. 4. create a tube from your craft foam. 5. Seal around the edges with clay to seal everything in. Make sure It doesn’t crack! 6. I sealed the seal with cling wrap and secure that.
And presto you have yourself a homemade rain collector.
