Her perfect, lovely scent has made its way into my clothes, my sheets, my dreams… her laugh drowns my heart in flowers and honey… her touch sets every part of my body on fire and its like ive been hit by the most glorious lightning… and when it rains and she is near, there is nothing more soft and nothing more sweet than her voice whispering stories in my ear as the thunder rolls on.
The white noise of rain falling surrounds us. Our socked feet tangled between us. A fluffy blanket over our laps. The lightning illuminates the room. The crackling thunder rattles the plates in the cupboard. Your fingers light up my heart. Your smile rattles my soul.
She's beautiful the lightning lighting up her silhouette, the way she just watches silent still almost unmoving every now and then I'll see her take a breath and gasp in Delight at the noises and light show the world around us has put on

Lips brush over collar bones. The hail pounds down on the roof. The air conditioner amplifying the sounds. Blue bedsheets. Grey comforter. Ugly yellow pillow cases. Hands all over. Thunder crashes as you grab me closer. The lights flicker when you move further down my chest. Branches beat across the house when your warm fingers press against my hipbone. Moving up you capture my breath in your lips. You taste like the last days of summer time.
Lips soft. Slow and sweet. Whispers in low lit places. The storm muffles the sounds. The window creaking the crumple of our ponchos bright green. Lifting you out of the window well climbing over and rolling in squishy we grass. Closing the cover again and running across the lawn. It is well past 11 which we were told was lights out. It is well past midnight when we were supposed to be asleep. Your friend waits with the car at the corner. Her car smells like a mixture of weed and a lavender air freshener. She is smiling from behind the drivers seat and peels off the corner. We spend the night you and I together. Your friend with some boy she met at the party. Me pressed against you all night, you humming sweet nothings in my ear. It is early in the morning. Predawn air chilly. rain from last night mostly clear. Ditches full of water still and the sky mostly grey. We drive back sneak back in and curl up on your grey bed spread.
