I still find it kinda Crazy that the CG Animation Company behind Reboot, Transformers Beast Wars & Beast Machines, and the MTV Spider-Man cartoon with neil patrick harris as Spidey ended up exclusively doing Barbie Animated movies for pretty much the rest of their days. Haven’t seen a single barbie movie, not really my thing, I just think this is all kinda interesting.

Halloween Celebrations in Full Swing at WOW! Unlimited Media

WOW! Unlimited Media, Rainmaker Studios, and Frederator Networks, Inc. summoned their Halloween spirit this Wednesday to celebrate the holiday at offices across North America. Rainmaker Studios brought their A-game for the annual pumpkin bowling competition in addition to a bake sale and trick-or-treating, while Frederator Digital offices hosted a cut-throat costume contest and spooky game night.

Beyond the office festivities, WOW! World’s SVP and General Manager Marni Shulman resurrected her family’s tradition of parking a skeleton-filled convertible on the front lawn to top off an elaborate holiday homage.

“We’ve been doing this for about eight years now,” said Shulman. “The first year it was much smaller. My birthday is November 1st, so I’ve always celebrated on Halloween. When my oldest son was three, we threw a Halloween-slash-birthday party. We bought a few decorations for that and then it just grew from there. Now we actually take over the lawns of our neighbors on either side. Everyone in the neighbourhood comes by; we see about 500 kids when the weather cooperates. People drive into our neighbourhood to trick or treat.”

Like her colleagues at Rainmaker and Frederator, Shulman appreciates the community spirit of the holiday. “Over the years it has just become an event-- everybody knows that the Fairlawn Cemetery is Brandon and Michael’s house! Seeing [our sons’] excitement and pride, how much they love being ‘that’ house just drives us to keep doing this, year after year, on a bigger and bigger scale.”
