I'm asking you about the minotaur baby bc im on a solangelo as parents kick say whatever u want mimosa is living in my head rent free

Mimosa is best baby, specialest girl in the world, she is spoiled rotten beyond beleif but shes so well behaved still

will had like the ideal pregnancy for her, didnt have too much morning sickness, never had really bad pains, only weird thing was his cravings, he wanted to eat literal grass all. the. time.

nico of course is obsessed with will while hes pregnant, like doting on him not letting him strain himself or anything bending over backwards to make him happy even at his moodiest

nico cried like full on sobbing ugly crying the first time he felt mimosa kicking

they had no idea she wasnt a normal baby until she was born, they wernt going to name her mimosa at first but when she was handed to will the first words out of his mouth was 'my little mimosa'

nico is a househusband, he doesnt care for working and he wanted to make sure his baby girl had the best child hood he could give her

he has to hire himself a tutor so he can keep homeschooling her since he dropped out in 4th grade tho

he cooks everynight for them, happily greeting will at the door with a kiss and a glass of juice before ushering him over to the dinner table where mimosa is trying to feed her baby minotaur doll her dinner

nico teaches her about monsters with little books he drew himself, teaches her about demigods, and why she is a demigod and not a monster

she loves her auntie hazel and her older cousins, especially playing dress up with them and they shapeshift to look like her

hazel is the main babysitter when nico has to go do something where she cant come along, they get along great, although frank makes her nervous (shes never seen anyone so tall)

frank eventually becomes her favourite, when he shapeshifts and chases her through her little hedgemaze

anyway this is really long lol i have more so ask me again someday

What are your thoughts on Nico becoming a swordfighting instructor for the younger campers

Nico never envisioned working with kids... to be quite honest, though, he never really envisioned a future at all. It was nice, which couldn't have dreamed of.

The kids were just darlings, every single one (except maybe the Athena kid whose special interest was swords, but only because she interrupted class every 5 seconds to "childsplain"). It hurt him to see them injure eachother. He knew in a just world they wouldn't have to do that. But he also knew this wasn't a just world.

The kids made amazing progress, and he loved them more than he could say. The Athena kid worked harder than anyone else, pausing between rounds not to breathe but to spout off a sword fact. Honestly, she reminded him of a young him. He didn't care how tired he got, the kids were first priority always. When the dreams were bad he knew he had the kids to look forward to seeing. When he didn't quite have an appetite, he ate anyway to ensure he had the energy to work with them. When he had qualms about wearing a skirt for the first time, he thought of his student who came crying to him because she didn't know if her mom would let her fight since "its a boy thing :(."

Those kids helped him more than they'd ever know and he adored the shit out of them for it

idk if this is specifically what you were asking about (or if you were asking at all in which case ignore this) but piper and leo's memories were altered at the wilderness school to include jason so ig their actual memories either dont exist or were corrupted

that's what I was asking then figured out a minute later, the original phrasing of the tags made it sound like they had amnesia at some point but they didn't to my recollection so maybe there was something else ehhhhhhhhh I know wilderness memories sucked or were awesome or whatever, but it never gets talked about in canon or explained ever again so I barely consider then when I think about the lost trio.

think the post is true that there's a lot of memory issues in hoo but I also think that's literally one of themes and connected to the whole "who am i" / "am i what everyone says I am" because the people who had to face that question were the ones with memory issues. Jason's obvious but u know, pipers fake memories gave her a boyfriend and was what made her feel so pressured to live up to that, and leos memories gave him a best friend and third wheel that sets him up for the rest of hoo, so yes the amnesia is like, a reoccurring theme but it has a purpose... but u weren't asking that!!!

if you’ve been on allison’s blog at all you’ve probably heard of their bran muffin au where nico and will have the cutest kid in the world sage ( this is a gross over simplification but seriously go to their blog it’s worth it)

anyway alison has been talking on their blog about how much they love the idea of nico and sage in the grocery store and i just had to sketch it

in order: scariest mofo in the grocery store with the cutest baby strapped to his chest, sage in the baby seat of the grocery cart, and like father like daughter sage with one of the kiddie carts copying nico
