So its been a year, huh...

Originally there was supposed to be a bigger illustration, but it's still being worked on do to me being very indecisive :}

The passage of time is.. Terrifying abd this blog is year old now...Help???

But anyway, i just want to say thank you. When i created this blog i was not expecting that i would get to share my work with such a wonderful community. Community full of kind and creative people, wich keeps surprising me to this day. Im especially greatfull for the support my little rain world au recieved, knowing that other people like it makes me very happy. Church scug forever.

I guess my only regret would be if i disapointed someone along the way. Im sorry if thats the case, i will try to do better

And in conclusion, i guess i just wanted to say..

Im really proud of this one :3

Mainly because i've agonized over my designs for the reds alot (mainly over Simmons, wanting to make his cyborg parts more canon compliant didn't help), but i think that in the end they turned out fine :)

Also yes, Kai will have the same build as Grif there, but thats a story for another time

The next thing i do in this au will probably be about the Blues to match this one or about the freelancers to explain some of their lore here

Or, who knows, maybe i will finally touch on the ai fragments 😈

RVB X RAIN WORLD AU - "RECOGNITION"

Takes place around season 6

Thats the first full art piece for this au that isnt a concept. .. Wow

I was thinking lately about "cabinet beasts" and a theory, i heard about once, of them being used for information storage of some kind. And at some point, while thinking about it, i went "hm, those living creatures being trapped in those cages for god knows how long for an unknown purpose wich may or may not be information storage sure sound familiar". And now we have Church experiencing horrors beyond his comprehension while feeling strangely familiar with them! :D

This piece really made me question how much clearly rvb related stuff should be present in my au art, because while it focuses on an experience familiar to a character from rvb (in my opinion), i kept feeling that it looked like JUST rain world. And so i madethe cage Project "Freelancer"- themed and aded a smal wall with a few references (wich are still in rain world symbols.. So the point is kinda lost.. God damit)
