5 years ago you put on your first varsity uniform for Kalamazoo Cougars soccer team. A little cheeky and sometimes in the shadows. Your dreams were always there, known to you, not always to others. You dreamed of championships and greatness. You rode on the wings of the seniors before you. But not this year. A few seniors. A small team. But you chose to walk out on the pitch once more, with your buds. But this time, you were the senior and captain. Can you do it? Your team gave everything they had and in the end, down 2 points and 2 players….what won the day, personal grit and greatness? No, it was faithfulness, friendship, determination to finish strong even when down. A championship game emerged when the Lord gave you the path to 2 finishes. A tie. PKs would follow, you gave them a tie, your brother and teammates gave you the win! These are the moments parents long for. For Humorful Sake... Dad Makes His Premature Baby Do Manly Things, And The Result Is Hilarious (OC) "Our son Ryan was born 9 weeks premature weighing just under 3 lbs. He spent 6 weeks in the NICU and it seemed to last forever. When my daughter was born 2+ years ago, I photoshopped her playing sports as an infant and had wanted to do something similar for my son. Although things didn't go according to plan we didn't let it slow us down.
