Raith: Stay away from my mother, she draws men to her and then kills them. Rian, who has slept with Maskelle multiple times and Knows she killed one of her previous husbands (Raith's father): sounds like a skill issue on the part of your dead father tbh. I would simply not mess up like that.

My birthday was last Tuesday, and Slush Dogg's birthday was a couple of days before mine! We both brought cake for the occasion!

The past month I've been occupying myself away from the internet and wanted to make a few bookmarks for the books I recently read last month! And I couldn't stop after the first sketches. Books and art rabble below break

The first one, Sanctuary of the Shadows gave me a chance to try some new markers and I dabbled with a bit of watercolors to add. But then I realized it needed some color pencils for extra shading! Really good novel; Mystical Circus with mix array of elemental and beast folk, and focus on a seer who is the last of her kind trying help solve a newcomer's mysterious past. Pretty spicy moments after a few chapters ;)

Second, Fourth Wing followed by its sequel, Iron Flame. Want to become a dragon rider in the nation of Navarre? Good luck trying to survive in the College. If the brutal training or letting one of the other cadets end your life doesn't get Violet Sorrengail first, the dragons certainly will. This series has a Hunger Games feel in the first sum of chapters, but the fated enemies to lovers troupe will get ya every time!

For the first vol, I chose when Violet reveals her signet powers to Tairn's delight and for vol 2, slight spoilers I apologize I loved how she quick to realize how special Andarna really is at the near end
