April x Casey Part One
April O'Neil barely finished her intense tessen and ninjutsu lesson with master Splinter.
“You have improved so much over these past few weeks. I’m truly impressed,” Splinter pointed out, while handing her some water, “Go rest with the others and we’ll continue later.”
April walked into the lab, Donatello was hunched over studying the dna of mutagen he found behind a dumpster.
“Hey Donnie, anything new?”
“Oh hey April, haha… I didn’t expect you to come over. I thought you were training,” Donatello’s cheeks burned a bright red.
“I just finished a few minutes ago. My arms and back are killing me.”
April leaned back to crack her back, her bellybutton peaked out at the bottom of her yellow sport shirt. Donatello could not help himself from looking.
“Uhhh… I know master Splinter takes his training seriously, haha…”
“No kidding.”
“April-“
“Hey Red, did you finish Mrs.Carpenters homework?”Casey said interrupting Donatello.
“What home- ohhh no! I completely forgot. I should go and finish it. “
April quickly threw her books and tessen in her bag and began walking out.
”Wait up Red,”Casey said while gathering his hockey supplies.
April was oblivious to Donatello heartbroken expression.
“Wait, April you were supposed to help me repair Metalhead,” Donatello said desperately.
“Red’s with me Donnie,” He wrapped his arm around April.
“Yeah sorry Donnie but I have to head out, my English grade is depending on this assignment. Maybe next time?”
