A Horrid Banquet (Ralsay & Kage)

Without its brain, though they know they cannot fully function properly without looking like a blind amoeba. They found themselves somewhere new, not recognizing the pristine marble floors of what used to be a place of laughter and escape.

Still, they were not able to understand what is fully unfolding beyond their control. The discarded limbs of the spade king in place of the chandelier settled in the throne room. Kage didn’t seem concerned much about it, but something tugged at their soul - wanting to head the other direction.

To no avail, the soul couldn’t drag its vessel back.

No exit beyond this point.

Kage went on.

However, you would never understand what happened next. Crimson pools in the throne room, Sooz - ever so slightly a little more dumber as time passed.

You try to talk to Sooz, but she didn’t hear you for your vessel was the one without a mouth. No warning whatsoever would have any impact on this world.

It was futile to resist.

The sound of bones clattering together as they made some sort of noise like cymbals, drums and boomwhakers.

They were off key with the notes they played - terrible screeching sounds as multiple bows pressed onto the bridge on purpose. Drip drops of ichor fell against the marble, making kage turn and turn until it eventually got caught into a fluffy white monsters arms.

“H3ll0º! høw do yœ !ikę m¥ G/f+?” A voice asks curiously, Kage noticed the goats off grin but didn’t think much of it.

They nodded, ignoring how much more at ease they felt with the monster guiding them. “G00d! Mªde it just for ¥ōu!”

His fur a bright white - black horns and a forest green cloak. Helping Kage to stand, there was an small and awkward silence - one that seemed to bother the goat more than anything else.

“W3ll, I ám Ralsay. Whø R U?”

“Kage…” Kage answers, already moving up the stairs into the next room with the goat following suit.

They did not know why they felt colder when they left the monsters touch, all it did know was that they still wandered aimlessly around the dusty paths filled with bones and slipping on eyeballs.

It did not really stop to take many detours, but Ralsay grew curiouser and tried to lead Kage away from the direction of the fountain without wanting to hurt the human he just met.

“Yöu AnD I… can maybe make ourselves h0m3?”

Strangely enough, Kage agreed and tried to stay still when Ralsay dragged it over to his castle filled to the brim with monster dust and limbs.

It was strange… but they felt like, they found more comfort in this goat that they met fifteen minutes ago. Or was it ten? Kage could not remember exactly how or why they came to be here aimlessly until someone found it.

And despite it all, Kage seemed to have gotten better at not walking off again - though Ralsay had to drag them back more times as he could count.

Once upon the final steps of the dark world, the goat opens the door to his little home - Kage finally steps into a scent of iron and dust bunnies littering the castle - Ralsay handed them a pie. “¥oü muS+ be hungry, though… I d0 w0ńder h ºw you €án eat Without a Mouth?”

Kage had no good answer itself, so they tried using their eyes for a moment - wait? Why would they use their eyes? You must wonder.

Well… let’s just say, “Oh, that’s how…” Ralsay was stunned, but it almost made him feel relieved. Maybe something more? He couldn’t quite tell, either intrigued or confused, he stared into the two tiny mouths with those vampire teeth when Kage lifted its head to chew thoughtfully - crimson and cherry filling its taste buds as well as a bit of of flesh.

They pushed their head back into the pie - Ralsay couldn’t help but smile wider and wider toothily.

It’s almost as if… they were designed to benefit one another oddly clashing but compelling opposites together in a gruesome way.

With Ralsay guiding each step they took - every smooth transition into another’s arms, Kage and their new friend somehow managed to dance without messing up too much. You can’t seem to control Kage’s strings - almost as if you knew. If you disagreed with any of the goats offers, you’d be cut off your vessel forever. It was a strange dreadful feeling in your gut - that you may need to experience the horrors of the discarded game you bought off… alongside the duo - whether you liked it or not.

“We… aR3 fr!ńđ$?”

Kage nodded affirmatively. Making Ralsay smile, this time facing the words being uttered as the author and audience reads.

He seems to be happy, at least he gained another friend.

"... Don't you two have to go home?"

"Right. Yeah. We should be focused on that."

Kris walked out the door, seeing Ralsei trying to heal. Susie followed them.

"Are you okay? And how can I help?" Kris asked.

"Are you serious? I can hold this off!" Ralsei said.

"Can you?" Susie asked, "You're in a pile of rubble."

"...You're right, sorry, I just, don't want you to..." Ralsei trailed off.

"Just tell me how," Kris said.

"Touch the top of the watch, and say 'Delta Strike' to transform. You'll say something afterward, and I have no idea how to stop that yet," Ralsei explained.

"Okay," Kris said.

"Delta Strike!"

A light orb surrounded Kris, and that floated up.

Inside the orb, Kris held their arms out, and a small deep blue, near black body suit, covered most of them. A chest plate, shoulder plates, gloves, and boots appeared, and their body turned a dark teal, their hair turning blue as well. Lastly, a small cape appeared and went over one shoulder.

"The Delta Rune's Human, Kris!"

Kris landed, a sword summoned to their hand.

"Uhh," Susie said.

"...Susie do you want to go home ever again?" Kris asked, "As I feel like we can only go home after defeating this thing."

"...Fine," Susie said.

"Delta Strike!"

A light orb surrounded Susie, and that floated up.

Inside the orb, Susie held one arm out, her scales and hair becoming lighter as power radiated. A shirt and shorts combination appeared around her. Over that, a vest covered it, the ends of the sleeves having spikes on them. A belt with a heart separated the shirt and the shorts,. Boots and a pair of spike bracelets also went on her.

"The Delta Rune's Monster, Susie!"

An ax was summoned to Susie's hand.

"...Okay, now what do we do," Kris asked.

"There are two ways to go about this," Ralsei said, "Either chop it down or use a special attack to get it over with faster. Although you two both have to do it, I would too, but I already did that... A few months ago?"

A roar encapsulated the area.

"Uhh, wanna just... Do the special attacks?" Kris asked.

"...Sure," Susie replied.

"You activate them with the words Delta Buster," Ralsei said, "You can also jump up to get to the Titan."

"Gotcha," Kris said, jumping up.

Susie followed them, and the Titan focused on the duo.

"Here goes nothing," Kris said, "Delta Buster!"

A blue orb surrounded Kris, and they were able to move it towards the Titan. It moved fast, and, holding their sword out, they rushed into the Titan. The light dissipated, and they were flung back by the Titan. The lack of wind was weird, but they managed to land on the now-broken spire.

"Guess it's my turn, huh?" Susie said, "Delta Buster!"

A pink orb appeared around Susie, and she was able to rush it at the Titan. It moved fast, and as it collided, she swiped with her ax, causing major damage. She was knocked back onto the broken spire. The Titan fell apart. Kris jumped onto the ground, and Susie followed them.
