It was difficult to call you a sociable person. You didn't have anything against your classmates, but you didn't communicate with them that much to be called friends. So it went on until one day you accidentally found yourself in the Dark World, where you met Kris and Susie. Their companion, Ralsei, told you where you were and invited you to join them. You didn't mind, and for the first time since you were in the same class, Kris and Susie saw you smiling sincerely. For you, your adventures were like a breath of fresh air. You approached everything with enthusiasm, and in battle you weakened the attacks of your opponents, thus trying to protect your comrades. But there was something that bothered them, but they didn't talk about it. Your appearance. In the Dark World, black veins were visible on half of your body, which looked like a spider web entangling you

They asked you several times if you were okay, but you insisted that everything was fine and that they didn't have to worry about you. You assured them that it was just how your appearance changed when you found yourself in the Dark World. They believed you, and every day you got closer and closer. The three of them got attached to you and you got attached to them. With Kris and Susie, you spent time together in the ordinary world, you walked after school, but sometimes there were days when you had to leave. You claimed that they had nothing to worry about and that you just had to leave for family matters. That's how it went on until you suddenly skipped school. They thought everything was fine. But you were gone for a few days and they were worried. Their anxiety grew stronger when the worried Ralsei did not suggest that the black veins they saw could be a sign that you were sick in the ordinary world

Susie decided to talk to you and took Kris with her. She knew that they were worried about you too, even though they didn't talk about it openly. You didn't reply to their messages, so they went to your house, where your parents, having learned that they were your friends, asked them to visit you in the hospital, saying that you would be glad if your friends would visit you. At the hospital, their fears were confirmed. You were alive when you were lying in the ward, but judging by your pale face, you were unwell. Susie was outraged a lot, trying to hide her anxiety, but you could only smile guiltily and ask them for forgiveness. You told them everything honestly. You told me that you are sick and that there is no way to cure yourself. Medications only remove the symptoms, so most of the time you can live without having to stay in the hospital all the time, but sometimes your condition got worse, like this time. You didn't want to make them worry, so you didn't tell them that you were sick

They came to see you at the hospital every day after school until you finally came out. You could go to the Dark World again and they understood now why these adventures were special to you. You couldn't afford anything like this in your normal life because of your illness, but there you could do whatever you wanted. And now you're back and you can continue your adventures. Ralsei, after learning about what happened, began to worry about you. You convinced him that he shouldn't have worried about you. You assured them that if you felt unwell, you would tell them right away. They became more worried about you and you were pleased with it, but you did not let your illness become the reason why you refused your desires. Dark World gave you the opportunity to feel like a hero and your loved ones were with you, which pleased your heart

They understood that you didn't know how long you still had to live. That's why you tried to get as much out of the rest of your life as possible. Kris, Susie and Ralsei were by your side and shared your adventures with you. Looking at the black veins that seemed to entangle your body more and more every time, they couldn't help but think about your illness, that you would leave them sooner than anyone could have imagined, and therefore they tried not to waste a single moment that you could spend together

He would be in denial of his crush on you for a very long time. After all, it's normal to be a little more focused on the new person in a friend group, right? It's normal to get physically affectionate with them quicker than the others, right?? It's normal to start keeping photos of them in a separate folder on his phone, right?????? (Yes, Ralsei has a phone. No, don't question it.)

When he finally comes to terms with having a crush on you, he would probably be in a state of pining for a while, too. Touches, that are supposed to be brief, linger for a little too long. Fingers almost intertwining, but shyly backing away when he catches himself doing it. Accidentaly doing the triangle method. The works.

If you don't confess first, after a while, he would probably plan out a confession of his own, featuring big words and almost shakespearian language, yet he would forget it the second it actually comes to fruition, and he would just awkardly mumble "Wanna go out?", and then apologize for being too bold or sudden for 15 minutes straight as you try to tell him it's okay.

If YOU confess first, however, he would probably be super shocked. The fact that YOU, the most beautiful and charming being in his litte world, repropricate his love is completely alien for him.

On your first date, he would try his best to do EVERYTHING for you. Hang your coat, hold the door, pay the bill, as if he's some kind of servant and not your significant other. Also, if you tell him ANY compliments or kind words in general during this date, he would totally melt like an ice cream on a hot day. He cannot fathom that you like him back, even when you're on a date!

Ralsei and Reader: I Fell From The Light

You forgot your notebook at school, and needed to go get it before the festival tomorrow. You had a project due, and most of your notes were in there. Another F could mean that you wouldn't go to the next grade. You weren't a very smart kid, but you were smart enough to take notes. Unfortunately, you weren't smart enough to bring the notes home.

You speed walked down the hall, but you couldn't find it anywhere in the class room. You checked under the desks, in between the desks, and Ms Alphys' desk. You found a dusty anime figurine there, but not your notebook. This wasn't good. You decided to check the lost and found in the closet.

The gray doors stared you down, as you twisted the handle and pulled it open. It was dark, almost like it was painted black on the inside. A chill shuddered down your spine, as the cold air enveloped your face. You took a step inside the closet, in hopes of a light switch inside. What you got instead, was a long fall inside a storage closet. You started to transform, your clothes becoming something out of a fantasy novel.

You landed back-first onto the rocky ground, knocking all wind out of you. What the hell? After regaining the ability to stand up, you lifted your body off of the ground, and dusted off your new clothes. The shirt was dark red, and were similar to a medieval peasant's tunic. The pants were a brown tweed sort of deal. Geez, were you dreaming? Only your own mind would give you such ugly clothes. You saw lights ahead of you, like there was a village ahead of you.

You were scared like crazy now. Why were you here? You weren't dreaming, well, you got the wind knocked out of you, and this seemed like a secret town, or something. Oh God, is this a resident evil game made just for you? Was a zombie going to jump out and eat you? Maybe you should stop watching so many horror movies.

A humanoid goat in green popped up on your right. You audibly yelped, and launched yourself backwards. Until you actually saw him, and realized it was no big deal. It was no freak from a horror game, but just a fluffy looking goat. He looked a little like Kris's older brother, but with glasses. The goat gave you a wave, and had a kind smile on his face.

"Are you okay? You took a bit of a tumble there. Don't be afraid, my name is Ralsei. I'm the prince of this dark world." Ralsei exclaimed kindly. He seemed sweeter than grandma's cookies, but you were still a little shaken from everything that just happened. "Where am I? Am I actually dreaming?" You asked, with a shaky voice. Ralsei shook his head. "You're in the dark world, which is much more different than the light world up above. It's a long story, but I can explain it to you! You're not dreaming at all." He beckoned you to the glowing lights ahead.

Ralsei took you to a castle, which you presumed to be his home. He led you to a cauldron, where he spawned a cake out of it. It was vanilla, with creamy white frosting. He explained to you the whole concept of a Dark World, the Prophecy, and why you're here. "You fell here by accident, I believe it's because of the Dark World in this closet. Are you okay now?" You nodded to Ralsei. You had no part of this prophecy, and you had the assumption that you were safe.

"Thank you for everything. Sorry I freaked out back there, the cake was delicious." You calmly said, trying to cover the fact you were acting like a scaredy-cat back there. Ralsei chuckled. "It's no problem. If you want to leave, I can show you the exit." You agreed to leave. You didn't want to be much of a bother, he seemed like a nice guy. He led you out of the castle, and back where you came from. A shining beam of light descended down to the floor. You thanked him one last time, and waved goodbye as you made your final exit. While you made your way out of the Light World, you realized something important. You left your notebook in your backpack.

Ralsei frowns. “I-I have to go,Susie needs me.. I’m sorry. I really want to stay here with you but I need to go.” you pout at that. “Pleaseeee?” “I’m sorry..”. and then he left. you frowned.

like 10 minutes later he returns. “I’m back!” but he found you…sleeping?..again? he cautiously lay down on the bed beside you and hugged you. he smiled and drifted off to sleep too.

Your boyfriend Ralsei might just be the cutest Darkner you've ever seen. That's of course, not a highly controversial opinion. Especially considering the two of you are lovers. But there's just something so tooth-rotting, sickeningly sweet about him. From the way he blushes and smiles at you, to the clothes he likes to wear, to the poses he'll strike from time to time—all of it makes you… so charmed that it's infuriating.

You feel your fists clench up in a rage just witnessing his wholesome behavior sometimes.
