Ramb x Reader cuddling HCs

Ramb's a short and chubby guy, so he's naturally the little spoon. He didn't make that rule, it always just plays out that way. You don't seem to mind it, it just always works out that way.

Can and WILL fall asleep in your arms. He's done it before, he'll do it again. It takes him less than 10 minutes before he just conks out. It used to bug you out, but then you just accepted it. Also, he's a cute sleeper.

Ramb's an old man, and he will withhold cuddle privileges for days on end if you make him stay up after 10:30 pm.

It'd been a day. You slouched on your Dad's chair, then checked your phone.

A chill went down your back. More messages from some damned creep that saw you on your Dad's show. They ranged....from...fuck, from EVERYWHERE. Flirty, stalky, downright threatening if you didnt respond- You whined.

Truly not wanting to worry him, you tried to ignore it, but...you're gonna have to bring your Dad in on this one. It's getting pretty messed up. He will not take this well. ...Why would he. You looked messed up.

Ramb's voice made you jump in your spot, and you held your hands up to your chest. You shook your head.

Biting your lip, you thought about telling Ramb. He always was a good guy to talk to, and...oh to hell with it. With a small whimper, you muttered out your issue. His brow furrowed.

Ramb gave you a "show me" gesture for your phone, looking at the messages and scowling. Hard. He patted your shoulder, signaling for a hug. You dove in.

"That little-...Your dad will take care of 'em. ...If I don't get to them first, that is."

Huh. You never saw Ramb angry, but his face was heated. A smile crossed your face, and you pressed your cheek on his, making him let out a small "Oh!" in response.

"How about a drink, luv?"

Wiping your eyes, you nodded as he went behind his counter and made you something.

Tenna opened up the doors to the stage and looked around, about to speak but saw Ramb looking at him grimly. Oh no. No. It was with you- Gesturing around in a silent question, Tenna was pointed to the couch. He made his way over and peeked at your sleeping form.

Augh. As much as he didn't wanna wake you up...this seemed serious. So he nudged you. ...Nothing. Nudged you again.

"GUH-"

"WHAT'S WRONG?!"

Tenna pursed his lips. Probably not the smoothest...way to do that. Oh, you panicked dummy. Way to go, you just scared your kid.

"Oh- I'm sorry, darling! I didn't mean to scare you!"

Two gloved hands lifted you up, and you scooted forward in them, reaching his chest. Your hands were on his tie. This...seemed bad, and anxiety bubbled in his stomach.

"Baby, what's wrong?"

You began. The comments. The notifications. All of it. You gave him your phone. His jaw dropped. Screen going to static at random. Scrolling the messages in your phone, he was speechless. Silent. The phone was dropped- Ah hell.

"Who... The FUCK," (Wow no censors) "IS SENDING MY GOD DAMNED ANGEL, THIS BULLSHIT?!"

Tenna held you close, kissing your cheek. He was losing his mind. He muttered something under his breath.

"I'LL TAKE THEIR LIFE MYSELF!"

A tug on his sleeve brought him back to earth. He smiled down at you, and he kissed your forehead. He really loved you. You smiled up at him.

"MIKE- EVERYONE! If you even gesture at making fun of my darling, YOU WILL GO INTO A MEAT GRINDER. GET IT?! YOU BETTER."

Ramb is long-suffering, but he takes comfort in the past above all else. One of his greatest accomplishments as a Darkner had always been the attention he was given despite being a simple powerstrip. He proudly wore the rank of "tool promoted to toy" as a badge of honor from better times, but what you offered was something completely different. He had been happy enough being talked to in the good old days, but having someone listen to anything he said was the mark of something higher, something new: you. You laughed at his "how about the usual" joke, which was a first, and... It was selfish, maybe, to want even more. More attention, more time. Maybe even a future worth looking forward to, dare he say it. More... love. But, if that were the case, if that really were a selfish thought, then Ramb decided that he was a wee bit selfish as you sat at the bar across from him.

"Listen to me, going on and on about the old days. Didn't mean to bore ya, luv. Anyways, go on ahead--I hear there's new minigames." You don't like how Ramb always seems to cut his thoughts short so that other people don't get bored with his reminiscing, and you tell him as much. He's a good storyteller, and you want to hear more! For once, his long-suffering smirk wavers, if only for a second. "...Are you sure? It's only right for you to know that I've a fair bit of things to spout off about if I get going." Chin in your hands, you lean forward to hear more of Ramb's recollections. You could've sworn his smile was a little less weary for a moment. "Alright then. You see, a long time ago, before I was representin' TV World, right, I was actually a proper Cyber City geezer, and--"

When you confess, he's a little surprised that someone like you would want someone like him. "You've got a lot of options around here besides the bartender, luv. But if I'm really the one you want... Then you've made a powerstrip really happy today." It's the first time Ramb comes around the counter to hug you. He's a bit short, but you crouch down a little to return it. He beams up at you. "How about I sneak out when Tenna's not looking and we go do something fun for once? Something fun besides getting bloody hammered, I mean." The idea, you decide, sounds awesome, and Ramb gets that odd, cocky look on his face you've missed seeing. "You bet it does! Say, what's your opinion on... Video games?"

Some people, when they're feeling romantic, make mixtapes for their partner. Ramb... Makes ROM hacks. It's not uncommon to have a cartridge slid across the counter as your partner looks around with exaggeratedly shifty eyes. He winks. "It's a secret to everyone." The hacks that Ramb makes are really sweet, usually modded so that you play as a sprite of yourself, and besides that, there are two things every hack shares: They all feature little inside jokes known only between you two, and they are hard as nails. "A game is most fun when it gives you a challenge to really sink your teeth into, innit?" Ramb nudges you, cuddling up to your side as you grit your teeth and futilely try to steer your character away from the spike pit they're hurtling into. You know that he included something really sweet and personal in the ending like he always does, and you're determined to reach it. Right now, though? The controller is looking extra breakable today. Ramb looks... Amused. This little...

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the large amount of update posts from me lately, I've just been pondering some things about this blog and I've decided to make it so you can request even More characters!!

This is because I've noticed there's a severe lack of fics for some of them, and it can be sad to see some other characters get hundreds of fics while your fave has like, 10.

So, I'll leave requests for fics and headcanons open for: Tenna, Spamton, Rouxls, the Weather duo, Ramb, Battat, the Addisons and the Pippins!

I might post some summaries of how I view these last ones' personalities, because I understand they are very niche characters to want fics about - so you can wait for that if you want to see if they pique your interest, OR I can reference the few fan works out there and your own ideas/headcanons!

General Dating Headcanons for Ramb

He sneaks you drinks from the bar, he knows your usual order by heart, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, he makes it right.

He also finds old controllers backstage, and lets you play the games for a bit. "Anything for you, luv" he says.

You know almost everything about him, because of your talks in the dressing room. Y'all have talked in there for hours sometimes, just because.

He fell first, and that's the only thing he won't tell you. He sees you as the most handsome/beautiful person in the world, and could never think any other way 💞

Sometimes, you catch yourself lingering at the green room for longer than you should, and you've almost skipped the times you needed to be on the air for assistance.

He sometimes gives you work advice, and tries to help you with all of the sets. It's hard alone, but it gets a little easier with Ramb by your side.
