Tumblr fam! It’s been a cool minute. Actually, it’s been hella hot where I live. Also, I should add that this has been sitting in my drafts for about..four weeks now?? I’m finally posting this at the end of week 4! Distance learning has been wild, and I’m wanted at work in-person starting tomorrow D: So lemme drop some thoughts from when I first started this semester~
Still hasn’t entirely hit me that I’ve just begun my last year of college ;u;
Even as introverted as I am, I can’t deny that I miss walking around my campus. Sitting in a cafe, going to the library to catch a break or study - just the scenery of it all. Being in a physical classroom, even as a quiet kid, meant something more than just being surrounded by four walls.
The only type of distance learning that seems suitable at the moment is through Zoom. Like, you get to see everyone in their own niches through video chat (if they have their cameras on). And one class in particular, everyone is really friendly and even greeting each other through the chat box!
So now I’ve been more motivated to socialize through the chat (since my laptop camera doesn’t work -.-). Seeing everyone’s messages and videos feels like it adds a more human touch to this whole online learning. But yet, I wonder if I would still be as “social” if I were to be in a physical classroom right now...
