𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍜 I might be a bit late to the party but I had @tonkotsu.ramenbar on the weekend and I loved it! They’ve just opened a new spot in Kentish Town literally opposite the underground station. I started with pork gyoza, and the King Prawn Katsu which I LOVED, and also the Chicken Karaage, which was a very generous portion for the price but also such good quality. Crispy skin, meaty fillets, a must order! Then we had Tonkotsu, because when in Rome, and also the Chilli Tiger Prawn. I recommend sticking a load of chilli oil in, the whole dish is given a lift when you add heat. The rest of the menu sounds great though and next time I think I’ll be eyeing up the Japanese Mushroom Miso. They pride themselves on making their own noodles with their tagline being “you’re just a soup shop” if you don’t. Also, they have a cocktail called an Umeshu Spritz, which is Tanqueray gin, Umeshu plum wine, Prosecco, picked plum & river leaf, and soda, and it’s DELICIOUS.
