“ You’re wierder than Tobias, and that’s saying something. What do you want? ”
" Virgin or naw ? "
“ I’m sorry I don’t think that’s any of your business..? I don’t even think I know your name. ”
" Are you my powers? Cause you're hot as fuck.~ "
Lowkey wishes she had water powers so she could soak him.
Heavy panting surfaced as the man took rest from an extensive training session, blade still engulfed in flames from said practice. Slowly sheathing away the sharpened blade, as the flames disappeared, the fatigue began to set in once again, making the warrior stumble only slightly. " --Shit...I need better control...he'll be sure to come for me again...he'll kill me... " he scoffed, a trickle of crimson dripping from his mouth. " --Just a little more...I can master this...I need to protect her "
Dull eyes stared lifelessly out the window, blind to the smattering of raindrops that now adorned the glass, her gaze instead focussing on the derelict building barely visible among the trees at the edge of town.
She knew he was there. Ever since the... incident that was where he had been. They had barely talked since then. Questions clouded her mind, making her overthink everything about their recent interactions. Was he avoiding her? Had she said something? Should she go talk to him?
Maybe it was for the best. Maybe she should just leave. Run away to somewhere where no one knew her and she could start over anew. No pressure. No contacts. A clean slate.
" Don't. Touch. My sword. " The arian scoffed out, shooting a glare that could turn the weak into stone as he yanked said blade out of the woman's hand. " Don't ever touch it again, got it? "
Soft hands quickly released their grasp on the blade as it was snatched from her grip, teeth gently biting into her lip in order to suppress the sudden rush of emotion. It wasn’t his fault, of course. He had every right to tell her to leave his personal property alone. It was simply the voice, raised and sharp, that had hurt her more than the words themselves.
“Of course. Got it.”
" OWWWW!! " The man shrieked, pawing at the wound that had managed to open up again on his ribs. A hiss escaped him, as the Pisces was dabbing said wound with alcohol to stop any infection. " Are you trying to kill me? Cause you're doing one hell of a job!! " Axel yelped, shifting so that no more of that hellish substance could touch him. " I'm fine, leave it alone. Just need to wrap it.. "
Huffing as she rose from beside the whining man, Polly snatched the bottle off the table and turned to put it away.
After he had turned up at her door, bloody and cursing, Polly had feared that something awful had happened... again. Shaky hands and teary eyes could barely even handle the job of cleaning up the gash. However, panic and remorse had quickly soured, turning to bitter anger as Axel had explained that, no, nothing bad had happened. He had simply been training despite his doctor’s orders and had pushed it too far. Any tears she had previously had were gone as she stabbed at the wound with the cotton, eliciting the sharp reaction.
Sliding the alcohol back into place in her cupboard she grabbed a fresh roll of bandages, hurling them at the Arian’s head. “Well you can do that your damn self!”
The man sarbefore the other, showing a perfect hand of cards with a sinister smile. " Well, looks like I win.~ " he spoke thus, tilting orange hued glasses and a wink slowly followed. " Now, don't get me wrong, but isn't this strip poker~? " the Arian hinted, resting a sharp chin against a leisured hand. " Now get nakey! "
“We were playing ‘Go Fish’...”
" It's tuesday...???"
“Yes,” the blonde woman panted, hopping slightly so as to pull on her other sock whilst still moving, “which means I have opening shift at the shop and I have to be there in 5 minutes.”
Catching herself on the wall, Polly regained her balance, hauling her bag over her shoulder as she looked back.
“Please try not to destroy my apartment while I’m gone.”
