Former vigilante turned criminal. They work as Scarecrow’s right hand, and his secret lover.
They were once a small time vigilante who operated in Gotham City. They idolized Batman and wanted to emulate him, however they were far from athletic compared to the hulking Dark Knight, but this didn’t deter them. Instead, they utilized the art of deception, rounding up criminals for him to find.
They spent several days following and observing Scarecrow, finding him to be an easy target compared to the other Rogues Batman deals with. However, they weren’t just a horrible fighter, but a horrible detective as well and encountered him one night. He knew their tricks as if he had studied them his entire life, and they were subsequently doused in his fear gas. That night was beyond torturous. The ocean water filled their lungs, and the intense gaze of the inhumanely large sea life pierced their soul. Truly, if anyone had asked them, they’d say it was the worst day of their life.
But they knew better, they craved the terror Scarecrow’s fear toxin would bring. Sure, it made them wish they were dead, but it was exhilarating. They threw all their vigilante duties behind, focusing on tracking down Scarecrow each and every night with various degrees of success. It didn’t matter as long as they could study him, to view him up close.
Their wishes were well received, ending up kidnapped by one of Scarecrow’s henchmen and waking up in a dingy basement. For days on end, they were a very willing test subject to his enhanced toxins and his experimentations. The toxin became an addiction for them as much as the weed they loved smoking. Soon, they were christened as Puchella, an instrument to spread fear as much as they receive it.
My self-insert for the DC universe! Most of the artwork and writing for them will typically be as Puchella, however I’m extremely attached to them as Moon Trix as well. They are a little older than me IRL, being 24 at the current time period.
If you read this and wonder, “Why is Ran’s background so similar to Harley Quinn?” Funny you say that, I’m a Harley kinnie! I’m also mentally ill so it usually happens with most of my selfships… teehee! Ironically, Puchella is not affiliated with Killer Moth. I sketched up Puchella’s initial concept several weeks before finding out Killer Moth existed when me and Grey were playing LEGO Batman.
With Puchella and Scarecrow’s relationship, they are not the healthiest of couples. They are NOT getting therapy and they both are extremely obsessive and possessive towards each other and may display some off putting behaviors that should not be replicated in reality. So like, if that’s something you’re not interested in I wouldn’t recommend engaging with my posts.
