Wayne children are notorious for getting kidnapped at least once a month—be it a rogue or a mediocre thief looking for some cash and getting a beating from Batman instead.

And with baby Danny having joined the brood, Gothamites were certain the boy would be a beacon for kidnapping. A baby was just so small and helpless, kidnapping Danny would hardly be difficult.

Until someone actually tried it, that is.

It was some Scarecrow goons who actually tried it, the Waynes were at a gala and baby Danny was sat on a high chair next to Bruce Wayne as the elites ate a fancy meal.

Then the attack happened.

Lights were cut and goons rolled in, knocking out security guards and pushing down elites who were in their way. One of the goons made the actual attempt, not even fully having taken the sobbing baby out of the high chair before Brucie Wayne punched the daylights out of him.

And he didn’t stop there

Brucie delivered a beat down only a true blooded Gothamite could, utterly annihilating the goon and placing him in the hospital for two weeks before he went to jail.

All while baby Danny Wayne giggled and laughed in delight at his daddy protecting him. Later the press was given a statement from Bruce saying “No one touches my sweet little baby boy”

After that day it was a rule (that even the Joker followed) that Danny Wayne was off-limits.
