About The Blog

This blog is run by three people and is dedicated to our DC AU: SolarMoth. We'll post our redesigns for various DC characters, discuss our individual selfships, and create lore on this blog. Our works may sometimes feature 18+ content, which will be tagged and labeled appropriately. The three owners are Grey, Ran, and Drool, with Grey and Ran's intros below. The Drool does not concern itself with being introduced.

Grey 🌟 - Hai! You can call me Grey or Watcher. I'm an adult and use he/him pronouns. I'm fairly familiar with all batman animated media and some of the comics/games. I selfship with Riddler/Edward Nygma. I'm non-sharing :3

Ran 💉 - Hello! I’m Ran, and I use they/them pronouns! I’m 19 years old and I’ve only recently immersed myself into Batman media, let alone DC in general. My main knowledge of Batman comes from the Arkhamverse! I selfship with a multitude of characters, but for the purpose of this account I selfship with Jonathan Crane, aka the Scarecrow. I’m non-sharing with him.

when ran was still a student at gcu, they had a roommate who was attending gcu through the metu-gcu exchange program! they were practically glued together at the hip despite the fact that they were VERY different people! they had their separate ways after graduation, but they try to keep in contact despite their hectic lives

guess who finished up scarecrow’s reference! nothing particularly changes much from official canon aside from the fact that i hit him with the transgender beam. his characterization is heavily influenced by his appearance in arkham knight and fear state!

i’d love to go on a five million year ramble, but in short she is dating puchella! they have been in a lovey-dovey, unhealthy relationship with each other for quite some time. she is also close friends with the riddler, having known him since it was working on its md at gcu.

Not really ship art but I like to think Two Face purposefully acts more affectionately with Watcher just to piss off Riddler. They are actually friends, in a way, and get along really well - 🌟

Yay Harvey! Okay, Harvey and Harv are the two separate personalities in the body and together they are Two Face. He does have DID which stems from the abuse he dealt with as a child. I'm not usually thrilled with how this aspect of Harvey is treated so I'm hoping to approach this with care. In my mind he isn't super close with any of the rouges, minus Catwoman, and doesn't agree with how any of them act/how their actions impact the citizens of Gotham. Harv is slightly more sadistic than Harvey but neither of them would consider themselves to be "evil." Two Face is friendly with the Nightlights as a group but is less so with Puchella, since they're Scarecrow's right hand. They are more inclined to Aves and Watcher - 🌟
