Alright, I gotta know. How does Foolfeather feel about Tempest's passing. I can guess that Darlingstrike is more effected by it, or is he as well in a way?

A little explanation writing under the cut!

Basically, the Starclan is just the territory clans hold within the Ethereal Plains, and without collective support from the living - belief and energy - it's easy for souls to fade away and be reborn/recycled into something else. Either reincarnating in the material world or being turned into something different within the Plains (Cottonkit chose to reincarnate! right now Berrypaw manages that as the Starclan guide). Certain cats are born with a natural intuition and connection to the Plains, and depending on the strength of the spirit can communicate or have ghost sight, otherwise best form is through the dream bubbles (if anyone says homestuck I'm blocking you /j)

Unsure if this has been asked- but who's the biggest and smallest cat in the Clan?

a quick doodle of our guys! Sativa is aware of how big they are - but insist most of it is fluff. Frostbriar isn't significantly smaller than most cats, but is the smallest adult in ranchclan atm

I did favorite hobbies for Biscuitfleck another time, and i skipped doing a family tree for Frost because that requires making up a ton of valleyclan cats to be related and to make sure she and Laurel don't overlap too much 😅 but here's a very late bonusranch answering some asks from the ask game!

Nooo Flickercry's quails!!

Out of curiosity, what is the general opinion from the rest of the clan about the quails, and about them needing to be eaten now? How many did Flickercry have, and are there any left? :c

Flickercry does still eat birds, although she definitely does prefer other prey like small mammals instead. if you've ever seen baby quails irl they move like a pack of dust motes it's so funny

Does Tempestmask feel any sort of way towards his granddaughter?

what started as supervised visits has grown into a wonderful friendship! Tempestmask has done a lot of work on managing his discomfort and frustration with kits (sticky, messy, loud, needy!), and with some coaching with Posythorn, is a fairly good model for Darling. They wrestle, birdwatch, gossip a lil
