This is probably a throwaway line, but Sera's:

This is probably me very much overthinking it, but I do wonder if Corypheus in the Redcliffe future made some sort of alliance with Ghilan'nain and Elgar'nan of some kind.

After all, the prison Solas' erected in the Black City was crumbling, by his own admission, and while Corypheus simply did not have the power to assault the City without the Mark, I cannot imagine he didn't search for the Well of Sorrows, even with his demon army and control over Orlais.

This is just me sprouting bullshit. I doubt he did make an alliance with the elven gods - especially since even by 9:52 Dragon, Solas' prison wasn't completely failing, and Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain only escaped thanks to Rook interrupting the ritual, leaving a pathway for the Evanuris to escape the Black City.

I don’t talk about DAO characters much, not because I don’t love the game... but because I have only finished like a solid 1 and 3/4 playthroughs and neither of them have covered all the content that DAO has to offer. I like most people, romanced Alistair on my completed playthrough.... because I am weak and fall into the same traps as everyone else... because god help me I am sucker for a sweet goofball secret Targaryen plot... 

BUT... the playthrough I haven’t finished.... yet... my Warden is romancing Leliana and I kinda love her. She isn’t the healthiest romance but I really think she does care about my Warden... 

Leliana is a very dynamic and interesting character in the series, depending on your world state she is really interesting... I really want to dive a bit deeper into her character at some point... She both upsets me and breaks my heart. Like the shift in her from DAO to DAI... is stunning and she is just this dynamic character I feel genuinely attached to on many levels. 

Which we all know is one of BioWare’s main strengths is getting us invested in these characters. It also causes some divide in the fandom, which is not an exclusively DA thing, however, I will say this much.... we need to remember we all love this game. Be us who stan... or those who are critical of the game and the world-building (for just reasons) we all on some level love this world. I would love to see us get back to a respectful place where discussion can happen without fear of backlash.... because we have long wait to DA4 and much to discuss but if everyone is afraid of saying the wrong thing... how is that going to happen? How is the fandom going to stay alive and not become a ghost town? 

I guess my brain went there because Leliana makes me think about trying to make peace... with myself… with the world… to try and right wrongs and fix mistakes of the past... and just be a better person… Yeah there are other parts of her that aren’t that great but that is what stuck with me about Leliana… *shrugs* idk maybe I am just an old idealist hippie that would love to see peace…

So I have a save set up now to do every romance you can do barring Solas. But every time I try it feels like I'm cheating on Cullen T____T

Bull's starting point was OK but I guess since it starts out rooted in the physical it kind of left me cold and not really invested? Loved Cullen in that cutscene though, it confirms my theory that when he's not working or Heckin Stressed™ he's just a funny chill dude. Also Josie.

I kind of want to try Blackwall because there's a lot of angst that can be had there but it feels squicky with Ellie because of her past experiences with older men (also me but that's a whole other thing) so I'd have to make a whole new quisitor to do it. Maybe split the difference with the Lavellan I'm going to make to try a Solasmance?

Imagine if the Inquisitor used a fake name at first because they didn’t trust anyone, and after they sealed the rift at the Temple of Sacred Ashes they were ashamed of hiding it so they didn’t say anything. As time goes on it just gets more and more awkward because they don’t know how to bring it up because its been so long . Josephine and Leliana both know, Josephine thinks its just a nickname and Leliana thinks its hilarious.
