in that scene where Andy went to invite Beckett for thanksgiving dinner I actually started to like him and to understand him a bit better, in 5x05 as well, Beckett wanted to go with his team and not abandon them in that difficult situation, what I’m getting to is that, I started hating this guy because he replaced the Captain *tm* but I might not hate him that much anymore ( dont get me wrong I still laughed hard when he fell, small revenge ), sooo the writers know how to salvage lost cause characters, which can only mean one thing, this Sullivan thing is done on purpose, ever since the beginning this guy has just been getting on my nerves and they had 2 seasons to fix it, it only took them 6 episodes for Beckett  ... so yeah Sullivan is the villain of 19, I dont see it any other way
