Okay, not sure if you’ve been asked this, but do you have headcannons for Santa and Mrs. Claus, cause I think their a cute couple (despite their lack of screen time) and I haven’t seen very much.

I’m surprised I *haven’t* been asked about this! I’d love to delve more into the TNBC universe’s Mr. and Mrs. Claus! They’re one of my personal favorite portrayals/designs!

Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus Headcanons:

I like to think they’re the same characters from the Rankin/Bass stop-motion film, Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town!

^ Which means Mrs. Claus’ first name is Jessica!

They treat their elves well and care for them like their own family. The elves, in return, adore them! 

The two of them are still in love and regularly share affection! Their favorite things to do are read by the fireplace and cook + share cookies with one another.

Whenever Santa Claus is feeling ill, Mrs. Claus tends to his beside and makes sure the holiday runs in the meantime. She’s a great leader who can take over Santa’s position in Town, if need be.

They’ve been married for a LONG time, so they know each other well and have lots of relationship/life experience. They lend a ear to fellow Holiday Leaders with any troubles/advice, for their situations.

While they think some of the other Holiday lands are *odd*, they’re understanding and open to sharing their celebrations with others. (In a healthy way, after the Christmas fiacso with Jack Skellington).

They like to dress up in matching/couples costumes for Halloween! It takes a lot of time and convincing before Santa agrees with celebrating in Halloween Town, however.

Santa won’t ever admit it, but their favorite visitors are Jack and Sally Skellington, with their skeleton children! They regularly gift them great things on Christmas, and keep a close eye on the family all-year.

Santa regularly impresses his wife with special toys he handcrafts and makes special, just for *her*.

They occasionally participate in a playful, light ‘snowball fight’!

Since Santa watches over the children year-round, they’re the most reliable Holiday Leaders to know what’s up-to-date regarding the Human World. Because of this, most Leader conferences are led by Santa and/or his wife.

They never found the need to bear their own children, since the elves are family enough to them. They treat everyone in Town like they are their own.

Don’t know if you were asked this, but how do you think Jack reacted to Sally telling him about the ‘leg incident’ with Oogie? I don’t think she told him right as their relationship started, but maybe revealed it later on? What do you think? I’m curious.

As mentioned, I think it would take time for Sally to feel comfortable before bringing the subject up with Jack. I imagine he had further questions on how she got down there to begin with, which would *inevitably* bring up her ‘leg distraction’...she might beat around the bush at first, but eventually confess the whole story to him after some time.

In my HC, Jack would be understanding about it, since she was using her wits & thinking on her feet to save Santa Claus. He’d be impressed with how she used her free hands to untie him, as with her other leg to distract Oogie(both at once!) The fact that she was brave enough to do it in the first place earns his admiration. And he might be riddled with some guilt knowing *he* was the reason she risked her life in the first place - to save Santa and fix his mistakes. He might even blame himself for what happened...

Jack wouldn’t hold anything against Sally for what she did - although it might leave a sour taste in his mouth knowing what she had to do, and disgust regarding Boogie’s taste. I think he’d be concerned about how she felt in that moment and assure that she would *never* have to do something like that again. He’d be thankful for her honesty about it, above everything!

Overall, he admired Sally for her bravery and quick-thinking, but feels guilty deep-down, knowing he was the reason it even happened and that she nearly died doing it...

Not sure if this was asked, but what are your headcanons for when Jack and Sally are sick and how the other takes care of each other? Cause I’m gonna bet it’s super cute!

I like to think that Sally is Jack’s first priority. :) If she were sick, he’d take the day off from Halloween planning and work from home, to be there for her and nurse her back to health. She wouldn’t ever have to leave bed..! He’d make sure she’s getting plenty of rest and take care of everything she needs.

If the roles were switched, Sally probably has some good soup recipes set aside. Jack would get plenty of nutrients as he’s tended to by her. <3 She might have some special medicines and remedies she can make, so he’ll recover quickly from any ailments..!

Just got Long live the Pumpkin Queen! And read it in one day and loved it! There was a lot of world building that I enjoyed and one of my favorite parts was (spoilers) Sally traveling to the different Holiday worlds. Also the Jack and Sally scenes, they were so cute! I just had a fun time reading it! Don’t know if you were asked this, but what were some of your favorite parts?

The Jack and Sally boat scene cleared my acne and watered my crops. I couldn't stop flapping my hands it was SO CUTE! I loved seeing these two finally sitting down together, alone, being able to just *talk* and act silly with each other. <3333 I wish the book had more scenes like this.

Dream Town would be my other favorite part of the novel. I loved getting to know about its world, its people, and the leaders! I'd love to see fanart or fanfics about it. Albert and Greta are super interesting characters!
